Ok, I just downloaded a Fireworks trial, and played about for a couple'a minutes, any help/tips would be greatly appreciated...

izzy thats awsome, i wouldnt know where to begin on making a banner or something (the art i do do on my vids i just make an effect on vegas and save it as a snapshot) awsome job, i really liked the hero one with the blue!!!

Good job for only a short time using graphics software - there's a marked improvement between the first set of stuff and the second, in about three months. One thing I'd say to be a little careful on is oversaturating - to me, the Hero banner was actually my least favorite because it was all saturated blue. If you're going to do something all monochrome blue like that, make sure your photograph is contrasting enough that the eye still has something to be drawn to.

There's an apostrophe in 'Don't,' but I'm sure you knew that.

Your sense of layout is pretty good; your banners are nicely balanced and I like the subtle use of citrus colors in the second set (and you were wise to keep everything else in the shot more-or-less neutral.) Again, good job.

Btw, i havent been going for 3 months, the first banners were from my very first day of my trial. And then I stopped using the program, until eventually, my 30day tester was gone. I've now done a deal with my sister (Vegas Movie Studios, for "Studio 8" which includes stuff like dreamweaver, flash and fireworks). So i've spent about 2 days on all this
