Ever seen the show on VH1, "100 Greatest Songs of the 80s"?? I see this on all the time, lol, and here's the list of the songs, should give you some ideas if you're not sure.

gah! all 90's was was girley pop and boy bands! I like an 80's theme though, though i am more of a 70's and 60's guy!

Does it have to be the original version or could we use a cover version from a time after the 80s?

Either way, I'm calling Respect by Erasure (covered by Wheatus). No promises, though...

My vidding muse is being a bitch right now (I think because my last SPN vid took so much out of me) and won't let me vid anything decent

There is likely to be an extension for this contest just in case you are struggling to finish. I am myself!

Hopefully I will be!

I won a contest for the local radio station here, which was titled "Free Gas for a Year"

I was so stoked to win, but even more stoked to discover that they're not giving me a gas card (with my Jeep, and the high gas prices changing rapidly these days), they're just gonna cut me a check for 1,040 bucks that I can spend on whatever I please, so first line of business is the new computer I've been saving up for, then it'll be videos galore! I fill out the paperwork Wednesday and the check should get to me within 120 days, so I'm hoping that it'll be in the coming 2 or 3 weeks. I'm so excited!

Regardless - I will be in flight tomorrow. Any chance of getting a slight extension as I just saw this tonight? Lame to ask, I know, but I'd like to at least try my hand at it, given my eighties prowess.

ETA: Get Happy!!! isn't a song, by the way. It's an album. A brilliant album, nevertheless.

Yes, we'll be extending the deadline a bit.

We'll let y'all know once we know exactly how long of an extension it'll be.
