Lost Video Island

[LOSTOnAnIsland]

I was listening my iPod on shuffle yesterday when this song came on.
I thought that it would be a perfect song for a Skate video. I think it really suits them at the moment. From Sawyer's POV.

I'd have a go at making it myself but I'm already working on a few videos at the moment. Plus I'm a Jater so I'm probably not the best person to do a Skate vid!

Here's the lyrics:

Now I was sitting waiting wishing
That you believed in superstitions
Then maybe you'd see the signs
But Lord knows that this world is cruel
And I ain't the Lord, no I'm just a fool
Learning loving somebody don't make them love you

Must I always be waiting waiting on you?
Must I always be playing playing your fool?

I sing ya songs I dance a dance
I gave ya friends all a chance
Putting up with them wasn't worth never having you
And maybe you been through this before
But its my first time
So please ignore
The next few lines cause they're directed at you

I cant always be waiting waiting on you
I cant always be playing playing your fool
I keep playing your part
But its not my scene
Wont this plot not twist?
I've had enough mystery.
Keep building me up, then shooting me down
Well im already down
Just wait a minute
Just sitting waiting
Just wait a minute
Just sitting waiting

Well if I was in your position
Id put down all my ammunition
I'd wondered why'd it taken me so long
But Lord knows that I'm not you
And If I was I wouldn't be so cruel
Cause waiting on love ain't so easy to do

Must I always be waiting waiting on you?
Must I always be playing playing your fool?
No I cant always be waiting waiting on you
I cant always be playing playing your fool, foool

Oh, I love this song. I always thought it fit the Spike/Buffy ship (if you're familiar with Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and since Spike/Buffy or almost like Sawyer/Kate I could definitely see this song for them.

I hope someone takes your request, Ashleigh!

Oh wow, my sister and I were thinking of doing this song a long time ago. I actually just started it. I think it's going to be more of an jate, PB & J, and skate thing... basically all the major couples who met on the island (i may have to exclude Shayid and Hubby though). We'll see how it goes... because all of these ships seemed to end horribly this season, I'm gonna try to make it as light and fluffy as I can.

I was actually thinking of trying this out, and after I'm done with my other vids I have planned, I may just do this for you. I love the idea of it being in Sawyer's POV, and I believe I have this on my iPod too. ;D

Awesome! Thanks for giving it a try! No worries if you don't get it done though!
