Hey guys. I need some advice and I know you are the best when it comes to these things
I'm doing a vid for graduation from Junior High School this year (may not sound like a big deal, but it is for us), and I'm going to take pics of all of us that are graduating when sitting in the cafeteria and being outside, during lessons, and of the school - you know the drill
The thing is, I need a song that is calm yet has beats you can use. And I also want it to be pretty short, like 3 min, and I don't want it to be too sad... see where I'm going?

I was thinking of Time of Your Life by Green Day, or How To Save a Life by The Fray, and I've considered some Ryan Star songs too - but I wanted to hear if anyone of you guys have any bright idea?
Maybe one of you have done something like this before?

Many thanks to anyone who gives some advice

Johanna ^^

Hey Johanna, you may know this song already as it got to number one in the US, but Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield is quite calm but has beats, and I can do an edit job on it if you like!

OK, well I had a half hour free and nothing better to do, so I did an edit job of the song for you anyway. Use it, don't use it, I don't mind either way. It didn't take me long so I won't feel put out if you decide not to use it.

Hi!

I think Time of Your Life by Green Day is a great choice. Several years ago, at my gym we used that song for a gymnast (and very good friend of mine) who was graduating high school in a video montage of her, and to this day when I hear that song I think of my friend and that video.

Wow, AP - thank you so much! *hugs*
This is a song I hadn't looked into, but when you say it - it could actually be very, very good for this vid! "The rest is still unwritten..."

Really, really fitting! Gosh, gonna be a hard choice - I've got Time of your Life and this to choose from... we'll see I'll keep you posted

Thanks guys, once again! You're the best.

No probs - like I said, if you use it, cool, if you don't, that's also cool. It only took me about half an hour and I had nothing better to do anyway *curses Vidder's Block*
