CHARLIE QUESTIONS WHETHER DESMOND HAS HAD ANOTHER “FLASH” FORESHADOWING HIS DEATH WHEN COAXED INTO JOINING A TREK ACROSS THE JUNGLE, AND JEALOUSY MOTIVATES KATE TO TURN TO AN UNSUSPECTING SAWYER, ON ABC’S “LOST”
“Catch-22” – Desmond coaxes Charlie, Hurley and Jin on a trek across the jungle after experiencing one of his future-prophesizing “flashes” -- but is he purposely placing Charlie’s life in harm’s way? Meanwhile, Kate turns to an unwitting Sawyer after seeing Jack alone with Juliet, on “Lost,”
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
“Lost” stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie and Terry O’Quinn as Locke.
Guest starring are Sonia Walger as Penny Widmore, Jack Maxwell as Derek, Joanna Bool as Ruth, Andrew Connolly as Brother Campbell, Andrew Trask as older monk and Marsha Thomason as parachutist.
“Catch-22” was written by Jeff Pinkner & Brian K. Vaughan and directed by Stephen Williams. |

What does that mean? Does she like.. cry on his shoulder? Or just use him for sex to make Jack feel jealous/herself feel better? And why is Sawyer 'unsuspecting'? URGH. I have so many questions..

but back on topic hmmmmm what the hell ! i looked at that for ages there not knowing what to stay bout kate and her man changing so i thought i shoud just right what the hell gets all my feelings across in the oner  oner that sounds weird im used to saying wanner cause im scottish but ok
yeah thats not the right thing to do kate dear, the right thing to do is talk it out with jack tell eachother your true feelings |

I would imagine he is unsuspecting of the true reason why Kate is turning back to him (her jealousy over Jacket) since she left things in limbo with Sawyer when she left on her trek to "rescue" Jack.
I cant wait to see what his reaction is when he finds out her true motivation.
HA! Then we get Jawyer!

It wouldn't really fit his character though, would it?
Maybe he's "purposely placing Charlie's life in harm's way" so that Charlie can overcome this "death threat" himself?? That'd be my guess because I can't really imagine that Des would try to kill someone.

Especially after he killed Kelvin and appeared to be so disgusted/guilty. No no no.. our Des isn't going to murder Charlie.
And the Kate thing is starting to annoy me too, but it is one of the main story lines and the longest, so I can't just back down! I'm weak..

Yeah, I'm just like that, too, unfortunately.

I think if anything, the trek is an attempt to get him out of harms way. But Desmond has come to terms with the fact that he can't change it, that time "course corrects" so I dont think he would put Charlie in harms way to try to get him to overcome it. I think that we just have to come to terms with the fact that Charlie is going to die. I think that is the message the writers are sending us. Tear.
