Ive been on a couple of threads to check stuff because my email tells me there are new posts in threads Im following.
I goto the thread and it tells me nothing exists in that thread but if I go back one page in the thread count, it shows up? WTF?? LOL

Also my email gets like 2-5 emails telling me a threads been updated so Im thinking five new replies to the thread but when I go there I only see one update.
It does this with my PMs too.
I had one new PM but got two different emails for the same PM.

Does this always happen?
Or is it because of the upcoming changes to the forum?

That one I have experienced as well. Not sure exactly what it is, but it may have something to do with when a post is deleted or... something. It's rare (at least for me) though.

That I have no idea about but I wouldn't recommend using the forum email notification so much if it keeps doing that... hmmm

Overall, this could have something to do with the 5.0 changes, but I don't think it does. More likely it's the forums themselves. They could use some updating - which I've been putting off until after 5.0 - and they're kinda full of a few holes after my poking around with some mods (like the spoiler text thing). Once we've got more time, I think we could fill those holes a bit
