Nice beat use! I wasn't a huge fan of the stop-start frame by frame bits you had there. But apart from that I loved it! Really good lyric use and effects. My favourite part "we come back as we are" and Locke is in the wheelchair and stilits. Fantastic!

hey, it really is a big honer for me to here someone whose work i admire to say they liked my vid. thank you. it really means allot to me. the frame by frame stuff though, that accually is a glitch that i tried to fix but couldnt. ill try to fix it tonight and post a new copy of the video here. Thank you agian!

I really liked this because it took a very romantic song and totally spun it to be about something totally different. It is real talent when a vidder can do that and do it well! So many of your clips were SPOT on with the lyrics - which again was surprising given the nature of the song! It actually made me feel for Locke! Which is SO so rare. I usually have very little patience for the man. SO yeah, you rock hard! Good job and I can't wait to see your "fixed" version.

I really liked this video, i loved the beat use at the beginning and i didn't used to like locke in the beginning but i'm starting to like him and i think the song was such a great song to use
you matched the song lyrics really good to the song and like KC has said you made the viewer feel for the man. I think it was really good video and i just loved how it turned out

Ok, just got the new version all fixed and rendered. I changed a few clips (nothing huge just the stuff in the beginning that skipped, polished a few things up and changed the format to WMV. Here is the link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2M5MpFv0u4

I loved the audio bits, particularly Locke's "It's never been easy" that went right with the lyric at that point!

Beat use, of course, PWNS me! *jaw drops* I was so impressed how you kept everything moving with that difficult beat but kept it understandable so that it wasn't just like random shots flying before your eyes. *applause applause*

It was a really great character vid as well as an excellently edited vid! *more applause* I enjoyed it a lot!

That vid was fantastic dude. The beat use was amazingly detailed, but that wasn't even the best part - it was those interpretations! The part comparing Ben to Locke's father - right where the lyrics said "Come back and haunt me", and all those great voice-overs at the perfect times, and the "back to the start" part used perfectly every time: they were all marks of some serious vidding skill! Very impressive, especially for your second video

I always thought Locke was like... Coldplay's muse because so many songs fit him so well (for another example, see "Amsterdam" - totally a HatchMonkeyLocke song lol). I'm thrilled someone else has managed to take one and fit it so skillfully to Locke.

Anyway, congrats on a great vid.

Hobbes- I’m ecstatic that you thought it was fantastic! (you being a Lockien and all!) I know I’m being repetitive but its because I truly mean it, its a huge honor for someone whose work I love and respect (and have on my ipod none the less ) to say they liked my video. I’ve had this one in my head for maybe a year now, just thought it went well with lockes story, and one day I just thought I should give it a shot. I never thought it would ever get this much response. thanks allot!
