Okay:
Yes she was a lot like the oracle.
Wonderwall- "Youre going to be the one that saves me..."
Donovan- Im probably the only person who thought of this, but like the singer who sung "Atlantis"...check out the lyrics:
The continent of Atlantis was an island which lay before the great flood
in the area we now call the Atlantic Ocean.
So great an area of land, that from her western shores
those beautiful sailors journeyed to the South and the North Americas with ease,
in their ships with painted sails.
To the East Africa was a neighbour, across a short strait of sea miles.
The great Egyptian age is but a remnant of The Atlantian culture.
The antediluvian kings colonised the world
All the Gods who play in the mythological dramas
In all legends from all lands were from fair Atlantis.
Knowing her fate, Atlantis sent out ships to all corners of the Earth.
On board were the Twelve:
The poet, the physician, the farmer, the scientist,
The magician and the other so-called Gods of our legends.
Though Gods they were -
And as the elders of our time choose to remain blind
Let us rejoice and let us sing and dance and ring in the new
Hail Atlantis!
Way down below the ocean where I wanna be she may be,
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah,
I wanna see you some day
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah,
My antediluvian baby, I love you, girl,
Girl, I wanna see you some day.
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah
I wanna see you some day, oh
My antediluvian baby.
My antediluvian baby, I wanna see you
My antediluvian baby, gotta tell me where she gone
I wanna see you some day
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, oh yeah
Oh glub glub, down down, yeah
My antediluvian baby, oh yeah yeah yeah yeah _________________

Hi jen.
There's hope. Maybe *refusestosaythenameforaislynnsake* won't die. It would be pretty anti-climatic. _________________

I agree on the anti-climatic thing. I really, really hope you're right. _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

2 Things.
01. Anybody get a Final Destination feeling with this? (First the bus, then the "universe realigning, thus you can't cheat death" thingie.)
02. Anybody who has ever read "The Time Traveler's Wife" will have a theory as to why Desmond was naked.

Aislynn, tut tut, you must not spoil yourself so
So, that was weird I mean, the whole desmond seeing future thing from the beginning of this season made me raise an eyebrow, but this kinda blew it up into one even bigger, even weirder, thing
I mean, it may not seem like it to most people, but... most of the things on Lost have some sort of rational explanation as a side to the mystical one. But this... hmmm... not many ways you could explain that. The monster leaves more explanations
So, Lost has officially turned mystical. Cool I guess... I can deal!
As for the ep itself - hmmm, I liked it! I think this was the very first time the flashbacks were actually better than the island stuff . See, if they'd just try to make one or the other good, and just use the other for support, instead of trying to tell two completely different stories ... oi...
Desmond is awesome. Great replacement for *refusestosaythenameforaislynnsake*, if it comes to it (you know I actually do kid. I don't want *refusestosaythenameforaislynnsake* to die... unnecessarily. Though at least if it happens, it's not gonna be one random happening like Eko . It'll be a major storyline! That's a good thing.. ish.
You know what? I'll bet the producers have two endings to this storyline ready, and are waiting for the public response to this news to decide whether or not to let *refusestosaythenameforaislynnsake* live, especially since *refusestosaythenameforaislynnsake* has such a love/hate relationship with most Losties. Perhaps it's our final test to decide whether we want him/her .
As for me, I don't care either way, so long as the story gets told, and if he/she goes out, he/she goes out in an awesome way that's all heroic, and changes things big-time.
We'll see what happens. Interesting twist though . |
