hey im pretty new to the boards, been to the site for a while though so I don’t know how things work here, but I made the video Hello/Goodbye and judging by the lack of responses on its post, im getting a itching feeling it wont win anything. Could someone please tell me why I haven’t gotten much responses on this video, and how I can improve my vidding skills so I can make a better video and maybe get gold LVI next time. Thank You

Many people get fewer comments than you had for "Hello, Goodbye"! In fact that was a great amount
It doesnt mean it won't win anything although first videos rarely do.
I also doubt you can get a gold for your second video Although there's alwaysa chance it can take ages to recieve one
I'm not really sure what type of help you want

hey thanks for responding. what i was trying to ask was what could of i done better on with this video to have gotten a silver or a gold, and what should i work on to improve future projects. its not like i just want the satisfaction of having a gold. I just want to become a better editor. Watching it over and over ive noticed many flaws so im not saying to yall that it should of won or anything, but i just want to know what the problems were.

My first vid was not very good, but it was a starter
I haven't watched your vid (I sure will) but as Becca just said, it's not very often a first-timer wins a Gold CP.
Now, I've just finished my fourth vid and it got a Gold CP, and the third vid I did got a Silver one. (I was totally amazed.)
I think that the reason why I got those is because on the first two vids I did I got such great feedback from other (better) vidders on LVI, and so I learned from it. They looked at my vid and said "hey, maybe you shoudl do it like this instead...." and etc.
So, my piece of advice would be to just listen to the feedback you get and keep on going strong!
Now I'm going to bed!
But I'll try to watch your vid tomorrow and comment on it.
