Okay everybody, I know I bug the crap out of you, but what would you say are the most "beautiful" LOST moments- doesnt HAVE to be beautiful looking-camera-wise, but emotionally. This can be good or bad emotions. I prefer it not be an act of evil however.

Yeah so camera wise also accepted.

for me it is the scene from Exodus:Part II when everyone is getting on the plane.

I cry everytime I watch that scene.

I think its in one of the early episodes, the bit where everyones on the beach all happy (Michael brings Walt Vincent back, Sayid gives Sawyer an orange etc). I think its the scene where Washaway by Joe Purdy is playing in the background.

The reunion of Rose and Bernard and I quite like the ending of the ep "Everybody hates Hugo" because everyone just seems so happy there *sigh*

The probably most emotional bad moment is at the end of "Deus ex machina" when Locke is screaming and crying in his car.

Emotional Good -
1. Sawyer telling Jack about Christian
2. Reunion of Sun/Jin and Rose/Bernard
3. Sayid helps carry Shannon's things (in Exodus I) - "It's not too much if I carry it for you." Sorry, but that kills me...

Emotional Bad -
1. End of "House of the Rising Sun" where the song Is This Where You Want To Be plays...
2. Locke crying in his car/banging on the hatch's door after his father betrayed him in "Deus Ex Machina"
3. When Vincent tries to run after Walt in the water in "Exodus I." (I'm a sucker for the cute things that dog does...)

Most beautiful, emotion wise- definitely when Locke is crying over the hatch in Deux Ex Machina. That whole thing with him screaming and crying in the car was really sad, but when it flash-forwarded to him crying over the hatch it was kind of a bittersweet feeling, simply because the music was just overwhelmingly beautiful and the camera shot was beautiful, the nighttime jungle was beautiful, and it was just such a powerful sense of feeling watching Locke and the hatch. You got a real sense there of who he was and what he's been though, and that scene was a really internally powerful scene to watch.

A beautiful shot by camera and scenery-wise- the beginning of Whatever The Case May Be, the very moment it starts out panning across a bunch of green jungle plants and then pans up to a tree high in the canopy of the jungle as the sun makes a lens flare in the camera, as we see Kate picking fruit up there. And the music was very beautiful there as well, with pretty bird jungle sounds in the faint background.

Another bittersweet beautiful scene was, of course, the beginning of the first pilot. When Jack's walking across the wreckage and the credits start, and we're watching all the characters deal with being on a deserted island for the first time. It was just awesome.

And last but not least, creepy beautiful:
In Exodus part 2 after the flashback of everyone boarding the plane, when Locke, Jack and Kate emerge from thick smoke in the jungle with sticks on fire, staring at the hatch door post-explosion.

In "Special" when Charlie talks about Claire with Kate.

The flashback scene with Desmond and Penny in the stadium, and Penny's Single Emo Tear of Tragic Love.

"All we need to survive is someone who loves us...and you have her. I will wait for you. Always."

And, of course, Desmond's "I love you, Penny," riiiight before using the failsafe.
