September 2006 contest 1st place winner! I know I probably missed a lot of beats, but electronic songs are kinda tricky. This vid is about Charlies drug addiction.

That was awesome. Seriously. I must have watch it 10 times so far. And apart from being about Charlie

The beat use was phenomenal and quite inventive. You pushed the whole concept of being "on beat" to a whole new level. This is groundbreaking!

The ending was nothing short of spectacular.

Not my kind of music, but the vid was just brilliant. The beat use was amazing and I loved how you told the story of Charlie's addiction in such a dark, creepy way.

I loved the effects and colours too.

Loved that act it was all about Charlie lol. Your use of the beat was outstanding which was obviously the idea. lol
I loved every second of it!

These are my fav types of vids so i really enjoyed watchign this!

Wow! I liked the song, the way the lyrics fit with Charlie's addiction, and especially the end, where you just rolled the clips perfectly into the beat. Nice job!

This vid is not very creative when it comes to the topic, I'm afraid, but I decided to use this song nonetheless because it works very well for Charlie and it has a lot of different beats, so it's great if you want to practice your beat use skills... and man, it was so difficult, too!

Oh, and Erin: Thanks a lot for your idea with the Newcomer Award!!! It's really great and I would've loved to give this award to even more vids in this contest.

Brilliant as usual!

I think your beat use was phenomonal! Even if you didn't catch every beat, you kept up with the pace of the song perfectly so no one noticed. Also, I really loved the beginning (it gave you that high feeling, as Paul said) and the end where all the prior scenes overlapped like all the terrible things he's done were forming in Charlie's to torment him.

I haven't seen the other entries yet, but it definitely deserved a prize!

So congrats on first place

That was beyond impressive! I can't imagine the amount of work and time you had to put into the vid it was phenomenal. I am a Charlie fan and it just fit perfectly!

Um. Wow.

I haven't commented on a LOST video in so long, and this one made me get off my lazy ass (okay, not literally, since I'm still on my ass, but you get the point) and do so. This video was just..wow. Your beat use was TERRIFIC, and not only that, you included so much emotion that gets me re-watching. Very awesome job. I especially loved the parts between 0:57-1:28. Those quick zoom ins to the beats were very well-done. I also loved the ending with the very quick clips to the beats. Great job once again! A well-deserved win!
