I *heart* Des/Pen and I loved your vid Heather. The use of the flashback scenes was perfect and you could really feel Desmond's pain. I liked the shot of him holding the gun that was a nice touch. Also really good lyric use my favourite part was probably when he says these faces are haunting me and he's looking up at Jack, Sayid and Sawyer pointing guns at him.

Well, onto the vid. I thought it was a really well-done piece. Des/Penelope vids are really hard to come across, because both are minor characters compared to the rest of the Lost cast, both you did these two and their aching love story justice! I loved your beat use (it was simple, but effective) and the way to kept repeating certain scenes for greater meaning.

I have a question. Do you use WMM? Because if you do, I applaud you greatly!

Can't get enough INXS, IMO...

But what was so great about this one was how very well the song fit the story of the vid. The timing was excellent and the story was so poignant and sad... *sniff*

I loved how you kept repeating clips that way. And when you showed that photo of Desmond and Penelope that they both had with them. And I really liked the bit with "these faces are haunting me" too.

Awesome song too.

Wow, thanks yall!!! The vids I'm kinda unsure about always seem to turn out to be the ones that come out really well!!

I think this is the fastest CP I've gotten, thanks!!!

Paul: Glad ya like it, esp. since you're the only other person to have vidded Des/Pen (I think)! BTW, your vid is GREAT, if I forgot to post in your thread!

PsychoCynic: hehe, yes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE INXS (I am madly in love with JD Fortune, but that's another story, lol)! I rarely use WMM, I've tried and there are no words to describe how much I hate it, actually I did use it to slow-mo the pictures clips in this one. I use Ulead VideoStudio v5.0, and I think I'm about to get v9.0, yay!!

Aislynn: Thanks, wasn't sure if I made the story clear enough... And yes, definitely can't get enough INXS!!

I have listened to literally nothing else since April, so I have enough vid ideas to last a VERY long time!

marcus: Glad you & Paul liked that scene--I sat for quite a while trying to decide what to put there! And it's always nice when people comment on the song I chose.

BTW, there was a Penelope clip that I had forgotten to B & W, fixed now (was driving me nuts, lol)

*off to decide on my next INXS vid, hehe, can you tell I'm a bit nutty??

INXS isn't really my kind of music, but this is such a wonderful vid! Great how you managed to create such a nice vid with the few scenes we had of Penny so far.

And the transitions are well chosen, too.

I heart Desmond!
