Two stars of the Hawaii-based show "Lost" has been arrested.

Police say they were drinking and driving after midnight on the windward side.

Two actresses from the hit show were arrested for driving under the influence. They were in separate cars.

It's the second DUI offense for one of them.

Michelle Rodriguez plays tough girl Ana Lucia on the popular show.

Cynthia Watros portrays newcomer Libby.

According to police, the two were pulled over around 12:35 Thursday morning in Kailua.

Each posted $500 bail and were released.

The Los Angeles agency representing Watros had no comment. We haven't heard back yet from the Rodriguez team.

But this isn't her first run-in with the law.

Rodriguez was arrested over a fight with a roommate. She's been in trouble for hit-and-run and DUI in Hollywood, and was ordered into a three-month alcohol program. Rodriguez is no stranger to Hawaii -- she also starred in the North Shore flick "Blue Crush."

Police in Hawaii have been on closer lookout for drunk drivers since the state launched a program called 52/12 this year.

Drunk driving arrests are up, around 3,000 so far this year -- make that 3,002.

Drunk driving is not cool. Either they were both really REALLY drunk... OR they were crying a lot.

i think it's the mug shot Jack found early in season 1. i guess it was taken in AUstrailia?

i dunno, i just typed 'kate mug shot' into google images.

I mean, I know it was from season 1, but we've never seen that anytime Kate has been arrested that she has made it back to an actual police station in order get a mug shot taken, know whudduhmean?

I heard on the lost forum thread they were 'intoxicant' while driving which means they weren't drinking I think so if they were under the influence it might have been drugs

that would probably mean jailtime for sure.

Okay, so yeah, Michelle is not my favorite actress and not my favorite person right now either! But, if she goes to jail she will screw up the show! They just set up her character so well and now it could all go down the tubes! Nice.

Oh well, maybe the judge is a lost fan and will realize how the show will be royally screwed if he throws her in the slammer. Maybe house arrest where she can still work? They'd just have to shoot her scenes so we can't see her ankle tag. Haha, I am so nice.
