Is it just me, or am I beginning to sound a little bit like Charlie in this fic?It's great though!

I was afraid it might look a little pushy if I kept asking if you were coming back to this, Pauly, so I'm glad that Jay did it for me!

I mean, we've been crashing for a while now... (And come on, it's not like you're busy or anything, right?

Previously on TWTSTW..

"We're going down!" Colin said. The back of the airship ripped apart from the front and air gushed in.

"You know maybe if I died it wouldn't be so bad, Josh."

"Don't ever say that again Ais. Besides it doesn't work like that."

"Oh god Marcus and Mims were in the back section. " Aislynn shouted the air rushing around her.

The front of the airship hit the ground with a deafening thud.

And now the next installment of TWTSTW..

Episode 9: One of us

Marcus awoke with his vision blurry. He slapped himself repeatedly on the side of the head before he could see properly again. He was lying on the ground large, green trees flapping above him. He leaned his head to the side and called out. His neck was stiff and it was painful to speak so all he managed was a weak whimper. He heard a rustling and an orangatang dropped from one of the trees and began to prod him with large rubbery hands.

"Get the crap away from me!" Marcus shouted struggling to his feet. The orange ape screeched and scuttled back up the tree. "Yeah that's right you big stupid orange monkey, run!" Marcus laughed snarkily to himself. He turned around to be greeted by a much larger orangatang who was shortly followed by more orangatangs.

"Right then." Marcus said and turned and ran off. Oo oo ah ah! The orangatangs called out in unison and started to charge off after Marcus.

Marcus was beginning to get tired of running but he could see the edge of the jungle up ahead.

"Help! These bloody orange monkeys..are..too fast..." Marcus choked. I'm not gonna make it he thought to himself and wondered whether orangatangs ate human flesh. Besides what orangatangs were doing on an island was beyond him. Marcus stopped running and looked behind him realising they had stopped chasing. He heard the strangest noise in the distance much like the sound of a kettle boiling mixed with a strange scooby doo impression. A huge white blob appeared infront of him and started to roll towards him. Marcus passed out and the white ball sucked him into itself and continued on rolling down the path uprooting trees as it went.

Clouds of thick black smoke filled the air. The fan of the airship was still in motion and created a deafening noise on the beach. Colin was running across the beach calling out.

"Anyone need any help?" He shouted. "You!" He pointed to a tree. "Come help me." The tree didn't move. Josh slapped Colin on the back of the head. "Stop acting the fool."

"Ow." Colin said rubbing the back of his head. "I'm just trying to save people."

"We don't need saving. Everyone is fine. Thanks to the huge inflatable cushion on your airship we got out with just a scratch."

"Oh great. I guess my airship is totalled though."

"You think?" Josh said pointing at the remains all over the beach.

Jay tapped Josh on the shoulder.

"I think there's something wrong with Aislynn. She's not talking to me. She is just sitting on her own. Maybe you should go talk to her?"

"Dude get me some pens." Colin said.

Josh slapped him upside the head again and wandered off to talk to Aislynn. She was by the sea edge her feet dug deep into the wet sand. She looked out at the sea wondering why all this bad stuff kept happening to her. A reassuring hand was placed on her shoulder. She looked around and saw Josh.

"Hi."

Josh sat down next to her. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing is going right for us Josh. I don't think we'll ever be able to save the world. Especially not stuck on this damn island."

"It depends how you look at it. I mean we survived didn't we. Who knows maybe it was fate that brought us to the island?"

"I don't believe in fate." Aislynn said, looking coldly ahead. Josh sighed and left her a banana for her lunch thinking it was best to leave her alone for a while.

Nate tried to talk into his receiver to radio to the pentagon but it was failing to respond.

"The damn things broken." He tapped it with his knuckles. Jay tended to Nate's wound which had opened again.

"When are we going to go search for Mims?"

"You know there's no guarantee she is alive." Nate said comforting her with his good arm. Tears streamed down Jay's cheeks.

"I know she is alive. We have a connection.. It's hard to explain."

"The first thing we need to do is build a signal fire.. or we could just sit here and eat my supply of chicken wings and drink beer."

"I'm down with that." Jay said managing a smile and picked up a wing to eat.

Thanks Colin. The season is going to last 13 episodes. Still unsure whether or not it will be picked up for a second season.

SPOILER: Someone will die by the end of the season and it is a main character.

Brilliant ep Paul. I hope I don't get killed by orangatangs.

So is the rest of the season spent on the island? Like a LOST parody or something?

And yeh I hope it gets a second season too.

Can't wait for the next ep (which had better be soon...).
