how soon will i kno if my first video (Woken) got accepted or rejected?

THey don't reject aymore. They use the council pick system.

It will be on the site unless clip theft is spotted then it will be removed.

And you never know when exactly your vid will appear. It could be a few minutes even a few days. It all depends when someone on the council is on and can post them. I thin kthat's how it goes

MG, is right in what he's told you.

What we do is once your video is submitted it goes to a staging area where council members can access them. Whichever council member is on that has time goes there and watches the videos that are there. We watch them all the way through to ensure quality in terms of the link works and no clip theft. Now sometimes they slip through but we always try and catch stuff like this at the staging level. Then the video is posted to the site with a "Judging in Progress" message. The council members then vote on it and if it gets 3 Yes votes then it gets a council pick and if it gets 3 No votes then it does not ge a council pick.

But like MG said it can be a few minutes or a few days just depending on when a council member has time to get into the staging area and go through things and also how many videos are in front of yours.

I don't remember ever seeing that entry come in to the site and I did a serach of our voting forum and can't find anything in there either. I'm not sure what has happened but it seems like something went wrong with the submission. I'll ask Enchirito about it but in the meantime please try to resubmit and if it doesn't work again then we'll look into what could possible be going on. Please let us know when you resubmit and we'll check to make sure it goes into the voting area.
