Anyone else watch this? I'm really scared it's going to get cancelled. It has to be one of the most unique shows in awhile. It reminds me of Lost because it has Jack's son in it and because of the concept of two realities. It doesn't hurt to have a British actor in the lead role too. Jason Isaccs is really great.

Yeah I watch it. I like it. I'm a bit behind at the moment but yeah renewal doesn't seem that likely. I'm not too bothered about it but I have noticed the last few eps I've watched improve a bit. I loved Not My Penguin or whatever the ep was called!! The plot is definitely thickening. I just have no idea how they are going to end the series or how they would make a season 2.

I loved the penguin episode

That's when I started to fall in love with the show. When they brought in the conspiracy angle, it was losing me, but they have handled that aspect really well in future episodes. They have also had more character focused episodes, rather than 'crime of the week' type stuff which has been cool.

Eeeeee! The show is finally on air?? *running in circles*

I was so looking forward to this ever since I've seen the promo for the first time. The show's premiere was pushed back over and over again though and I forgot about it at some point

How many episodes have been aired so far?

It's been on air for ages! I think it's nearly finished S1 if it hasn't already.

Well it's just been cancelled

NBC have just shot themselves in the foot with that one. I bet Awake does well internationally and in dvd sales. I've actually stopped watching The Office because it is so bad now, but they insist on flogging a dead horse with that one. If Awake can't succeed on NBC I dunno what show can nowadays without already having a following.

Ugh that sucks! They do keep cancelling great shows that haven't had a chance to show their full potential and then keep renewing shows that should have ended loooooooong ago

Hopefully we will see more on demand services like Netflix invest in their own programming and then I presume, people all round the world can decide if they like a show or not which will be amazing.

Hmm, I might wait & see how you liked the last episode then, Paul.... and if there's some kind of "proper" ending, but I doubt it with only 13 episodes

I remember being really upset and disappointed when they cancelled FlashForward after just one season, especially since there were SO many questions left by the end of the show

I just watched 1x11 and it was AMAZING!! Best episode so far!! I really want to watch another ep but I have to revise!!

OMG I just watched the finale. It was awesome!! It reminded me so much of Lost because of the weird dream stuff. It was brilliant! And I thought it might end that way - it didn't really answer anything, but it was a nice ending so I'm fine with how they ended it, and it didn't really require a season two so I'm cool with it being cancelled. It's still a shame that it left it open and didn't really clarify anything though!

I get the feeling the ending was rushed. It's cool we actually got some finality to it all though. It's a very rare thing as they usually put up a cliffhanger even if they are cancelled.

I loved the weird dream stuff too Jemma. Hopefully the writers and producers can move on to other cool stuff because they clearly have a great deal of talent.
