Since these books have been recommended to me (thank you, Kat

), I thought I could give it a try.... and I'm loving them so far!!!!

I'm halfway through the first book. I did a lot of reading last Saturday and it was almost impossible to put it down! I kept on reading and reading and reading until I realized that it was getting really late and I had to stop.

Anyone else reading the books? Any thoughts on the movies?

I loved the first book but haven't read the other two yet, ugh!

I can't wait to, though!

And I'm definitely looking forward to the movie, Jennifer Lawrence is awesome! I adored her in X-Men: First Class and I can't wait to see her as Katniss!

I was a bit like that

at first when I read that Lenny Kravitz will be playing Cinna. I thought of Cinna as being more... hmm... "gay", I reckon. I know it's such a cliché but the stylists at German's Next Topmodel all seem to be gay so can you blame me?

The more I kept reading, the more I could picture Kravitz as Cinna though.

I love the humour in this book, like Katniss thinking how much she likes her stylists' team. "They're such complete idiots!"

Yeah, it does! The whole drawing of the names-scene looks so amazing! And there was a glimpse at Rue and Cinna. The last scene, when they're entering the arena, looks amazing, too!

It sounds an interesting concept. I'm actually reading the Game of Thrones books at the moment but should be a series to check out in the future

I am SOOO EXCITED!!

The trailer looks amazing and all the casting was perfect - I wasn't sure about Cinna at first but he looks awesome! And Jennifer, Josh, and Liam are perfect!

The trailer looks so good! I think I hated pretty much all of the casting when it was revealed but now I can see everyone in costume it is seeming much better for me.

I had NO Idea that Zoe was Angel. I liked her in that film. I LOVED that film.

I think Jennifer Lawerence is going places; and I still can't believe I haven't seen Winter's Bone; it looks really good.

I've not read the books; but what I like is they really haven't showed us anything in the books; we see the start up more then the middle or anything from the end. We see her going into the games; so I like they are keeping a lot hidden instead of giving us one of those "And I've seen the mvoie trailers."

The cast looks good.

You DEFINITELY have to read the books, Brooke. But yeah, I like that they basically just showed stuff from the first half and ended it right when they entered the arena!! Aaah!

I have the first book I just haven't read it yet. There's books I have on my list before that one.
