Guesses anyone as to who would side with Jack and who would side with Locke, if it comes to it? Lets discount Raftees for now, as they're out of the mess.

My guess:

Jack's team: (aka Science)

Kate
Sun
Shannon
Sayid
Hurley

Locke's Team (aka Faith)

Charlie
Claire

Now, Charlie and Claire are the obvious debatable ones. Most would think that they wouldn't side with the bad guy, and they probably wouldn't. But if Locke isn't all creepy about the choosing of sides thing, then don't close that possibility. They are the most likely right now, as each has had him give some special sign during the show of trying to "recruit" them. With Charlie, he helped with his drug addiction. With Claire, he helped her feel needed, and made a baby cradle. Then again, he also helped Shannon out... but then he ended up killing her brother, so that kinda backfired didn't it?

Maybe she would turn to his side if the situation was right though... hmmm.
Sun was told by Jin to "stick with Jack"
Sayid is likely to follow Shannon and/or whoever he agrees with
Kate said "I got your back"
Hurley's probably pissed off from Locke opening the hatch lol

my guess is the same as yours, except I think Hurley will follow Locke. After he finds out the numbers are not really evil after all.

I think Sayid would go with Locke. He might not like how he does things but he knows that he is an asset to all this spooky shit

I agree, those ones are the most likely to sway.

I wonder if Kate might go with Locke if the situation seemed right...

I mean, Jack has lied to her and barrated her many times over.... hmm.

Well I am pretty sure that she went with Locke to check out the hatch without telling Jack in the pilot so yeah if it suits her she will follow Locke.
