The LVI Council is proud to announce that the Member of the Month for August 2011 is nikkimonique!

Nikki has been a loyal member here for 4 years now. She's not only a fantastic vidder who creates some of the best, most original and creative AUs we've ever seen, but she's a warm, sweet person who is often one of the first to welcome new members and invite people to join in the chats in the Spam section.

She's always so upbeat and down-to-earth and she seems to consider everyone on the site to be a friend that she enjoys talking to! She never fails to have kind and constructive things to say about people's vids and is always game to watch a vid for a fandom she's not familiar with.

Even though she has a busy real life with her husband and adorable kids, she always makes time to support LVI, whether through helping with things like the LVI Love Secrets thread or just taking the time to offer some words of advice, in addition to watching and commenting on her fellow vidders' work.

She's a funny, kind, and giving person, an extremely talented vidder, and is a definite asset to our community! We are very lucky to have her as a longtime member!

The LVI Council recommends nikkimonique's following vids:

Each of her AUs could get a shout-out because they all are of a terrific standard with unique plots that never fail to inspire and impress, whether they're just lightly AU or have full-on 100% constructed realities. A few notable ones we loved in particular are:
