Lost Video Island

Found this cool movie someone made using 3dsmax and some Half Life 2 animation engine to recreate the infamous You Can't Handle the Truth scene from A Few Good Men.

Figured a man like Hobbes, just beginning his journey into 3d animation, might enjoy it.

Is it super hard to use 3d animation? I remember my days back in school we used to much about on deluxe paint hehe that's about all i know and I had a disney animation studio as a kid.

Unless the half-life sprites are easier to work with or something.... but STILL! Great find, Jake! Thanks!

As for it being hard: nah not really, it's fairly easy to get the hang of. But it IS very hard to get good at it. There are many little errors that can screw up an entire video if you're not careful, much like vidding. The wordst part about it is it takes FOREVER to make. >.< My guess is that animation there took about a week of work... that's if the sprites were pre-made. If they had to make all of those people and the whole room from scratch.... probably a month or two...?
