|

I'm planning a crossover and it's going to be so insanely random that I don't think a song with lyrics could ever fit the story. I'm looking for either an instrumental song or a song with vague, pretty lyrics that I could use.
I have a few ideas at the moment but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. It needs to be quite intense and emotional but not, like, really dramatic or 'violent-sounding'
These are the ideas I have so far, just to give y'all an idea of the kind of tone I am going for:
Requiem for a Dream - Clint Mansell
We Fall Down - Dana Parish
In The House/In A Heartbeat - 28 Days Later Soundtrack
A Fine Frenzy - Almost Lover
Just stuff like that really... Any ideas? _________________

Check out, Breathe Me by Sia -I'm not sure if the lyrics are approriate, but she has a soft, pretty voice and it's mostly instrumental; I love clint mansell tho, just made a video to that song recently. Good luck finding a song!! |

I really like Within Me by Ray Lamontange, it's nearly instrumental, and only has a few words through-out the song, and it's all basically just the same thing repeated through the song. It's a tad on the long side though, I think between 5 and 6 minutes. _________________

I think it's going to need to be pretty long. I've set myself a bit of a challenge and I've got a lot of story to tell!
Wow - I didn't really expect so many suggestions. Thanks everyone x
I love Sia - Breathe Me. I did kinda consider that one but I'm not sure the lyrics really fit. I might give it another listen though. See if I can make the story fit.
And thanks Tammy and Karolina. I'm gonna check all of those out right now. _________________

Oooh.. now I'm in a bit of a quandry.. The Atonement one would work really well but the song is so short.. I suppose I could extend it somehow.
*ponders*
Anyhoo, thanks for the suggestions. I don't know which one to pick now I've listened to em all.. _________________

I just thought of another one, although it's rather short; it's from Love actually and it's really pretty! you might be able to loop it or something, I've wanted to use it for something for some time now, but it will have to wait :p here's a link to listen:
