Ohh okay, gotcha. I used 5.5 until a few months ago when I got CS2. Is there an option on your version to make the text smooth? Coz all your stuff looks stunning, but the text is a little jaggy sometimes (if that makes any sense, lol!)
I don't wanna sound like I'm criticizing - because I'm totally not, I love your work. I'm just curious if the older versions of Photoshop have that option

i don't know i've been struggeling with that for a while its really annoying!
i've tried a few things to get it to look right but nothing seems to work  . don't supose you know what im doing wrong do you? or do you just reckon its cause its an old crappy version of photoshop..?
also i've just been noseying through your art (which is amazing by the way, i spesh love your manips ) and i was wondering if you could let me know what the text is you used on your "nothing else matters" skate banner on your first page...and also on icon r. if you can't remember it doesnt matter but thought id ask

I thought I'd try and help you out with the text thing. I have PS CS3, and I sometimes have trouble with certain texts, where they come out looking ragged...When that happens, I usually try and add a Layer mask to the text, and pick a very light grey, and just brush over top the text, and it usually gives it a more faded look, and takes away some of the ragged look of it... Hope that helps

I've never had to do anything like that Tammy, in CS2 you just change the text setting at the top to something like "smooth", "strong" or other stuff. idk.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure how to change the setting in the older Photoshop - I'm trying to think back to when I was using 5.5...
I'm thinking that it's a setting or box that you check when the window comes up for you to type in. It may be called "anti-alias" or something. =/
Aww thanks! I'm not quite sure what fonts those are, but next time I'm in Photoshop I'll go thru my fonts and find 'em for you =)

just a tiny update...thought i better stop at this seeing as im supposed to be revising
