Michael and Walt both 'got off' the island, they were on the Others' boat, but are both supposed to make an appearance this season as far as I know...so however they explain it, I guess. I'm really not sure. _________________

It would be my guess that Walt and Michael didn't get really far with their boat and are once again being held captive by the Others in some place? (Although Michael looks too civilized in the promo pics with his neat short hair )
Remember how Desmond tried to get off the island, but failed? Maybe that's what happened to Walt and Michael or the Others never intended to let them go or something like that. _________________

That's kinda what I assumed. I'm thinking there is no way off of the island by boat (maybe by air you can) but once you get off, maybe you can't fin dit again....I dunno. _________________
I have to say that I'm very happy that Jack doesn't get the premier for a change. He had the last two and the season 3 finale - that should be enough for a while. Plus, we're probably gonna see him in other characters FF. So Hurley is just fine with me.
I'm just a little annoyed that there's still no sign of a Sawyer centric episode. His last one was 3x04! I was already disappointed that he didn't get one in the second half of season three but now it looks like he won't be getting one till after the strike (whenever that may be).
But I'm really looking forward to Desmond's and Juliet's episodes. _________________
YES! I loved it when they do flashback episode for people like the Tailies/Others and now they're doing it for the boaties It's gonna be awesome.
I dont mind Jack flashbacks, cos he's always got in intresting past (lets just block out Stranger In A Strange Land please ) but it'll be intresting to see a Hurley one as an opening. _________________

lol, supposedly the first image is the load of fruit and it's actually Hurley's flashforward which'll be cool
Yeah Elle, I'm agreeing with ya, I like some Jack FB's but SIASL just didn't appeal to me.
heres what the opening is
Spoiler:
So we see this giant pile of fruit, right? And we think it's on the island, because why wouldn't there be a giant pile of fruit on the island? We hear a rumbling, maybe it's the helicopter, but no. There's a bang! and the fruit explodes. A car comes piling through the fruit. It's a car chase. WHAT?! A car chase on the island?!? No, it's a car chase, FROM THE FUTURE. Ok, it's a flash-forward, but yeah. We see the cops chasing a car and eventually the car spins out of control, crashing into a building or something. The cops tell the driver to get out of the car and it's... Hurley! Why the hell was he running? And he's alive! He made it off the island!
omgosh! Hurley! Why are you running from the coppers?! And why did you drive through a pile of fruit! That's just wasting food.
SIASL was mind numbingly boring. Oh my GOD I dont even know where to start. The worst episode of Season 3 by far. Bai Ling was a crap actress, the "big revelation was what Jack's tattoos mean" was lame, "He walks among us, but he is not one of us" oh wow that's intresting. & then they just took that back by saing "Thats what they say, thats not what they mean" WHAT THE HELL? Gruff. Though I did like Kate feeling guilty about leaving Jack. When I watched it the other night, I fastforwarded through the flashbacks.
LMAO that sounds weird to say "I fastforwarded through the flashbacks" _________________

i mostly like Jack flashbacks unlike allot of people! Im a huge fan of John Terry and i think Jack and his dads relationship is quite interesting. But i agree, i thought stranger in a strange land was poorly written. I think they fired the two ladies who wrote this after it aired if im not mistaken. I think Bai Ling was horriable also!
