Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads up if you are not aware. Youtube has started to remove some of my videos because of copyright issues. This just started on Friday to me, and I know some of you have said that yours are starting to go too. Again, just wanted to give you guys a heads up. Does anyone know of another youtube type place to put vids up at??

foxy9, I'm so sorry! That totally sucks! I haven't had that problem yet. *shakes fist at YouTube*
Try imeem You can register an account and can upload all sorts of things as well as vids

I think vids submitted here have to be submitted to YouTube though.

I'm on account number 3 at youtube. They will eventually just remove as many as they can.

Unfortunately they have the right to remove anymaterial they feel violates the TOS. But to be honest, I've seen chunks of TV episodes and movies on there. Yet they target fanvids.

Copyright infringement is such crap! Doesn't anyone understand that our vids actually gets people interesting in the show and music, more than the show's and band's promotions! I can't tell you how many bands and songs I've gotten into since watching vids... *shakes head at ignorance*

Like Jemmz said, Imeem I've heard is good. I suppose www.zshare.net works similiarly. www.putfile.com is an oldy but it's reliable! Hope you can manage to store your vids elsewhere for now!

After my account was deleted I stopped putting the song titles and artists in the search phrases might help.

Yeah, when I first heard that they were deleting vids/accounts, I went through and took out any song names from the keywords, and I also put in every single description "Clips copyright (company name) - no copyright infringment intended" and I've never had anything deleted.

I haven't had anything ever deleted, but I have on dA (deviantART). Copyright infringement is total crap when it comes to YouTube and stuff like that. I mean, I've gotten into TONS of bands and stuff from vids I've seen that they've been featured in.

Oh well. *sigh*

I know I have gotten into a lot of songs because of youtube videos, but then I just download them on limewire so I guess I'm not really helping the cause. lol
