So, I just graduated. *yay*
And with grad came completion of my Animation class project I was kinda working on off-and-on since January (mostly off though. You have no idea how boring that gets lol).
Anyway, here it is for those of you who didn't see it already on youtube LOL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xW-UjGBSMnY
The audio is lame - I lost my microphone so I couldn't do a voiceover like I planned - but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it - ish! I learned a lot of neat stuff with that 3d program about how to make a lifelike model, and played around a ton. I've got loads of little short animations of weird trivial stuff, but otherwise not too much to show for this semester of work lol. But then again, I spent most of this class studying for my other classes so it's understandable.
Anyways, enjoy! |

I was planning to, but since my microphone got lost I had to use a canned one from a sound effects site lol.
(Btw, in case anyone would like to know, you can totally get the audio off this site : http://www.audiosparx.com/ by using the Videodownloader extension for Firefox . They should have known better. Tsk tsk.) |

Congrats Warren! That was a cool animation. I can see how that could get very tedious. You did good. |

Hey Warren, congrats on graduating!
It's a really cool animation you got there I could totally recognize myself when he (hm, I always think turtles are "he"s) saw the finishline like 2000 lightyears away
And then when he was riiight about to finish, the stupid car came and destroyed everything... *sniffles*
Anyways a really great job! _________________

LOL, do all your animations end with advertising a sports car?
All kidding aside, great vid and great animation. It was a fun premise, and I liked how the pace of the editing mimicked the pace of the turtle at the beginning. Kind of gives you an inner look at the turtle's POV. And then the pace changes drastically with the car. Brilliant.
Except I didn't really get what was with all the close-eye shots juxtaposed with the car speeding around. (I also couldn't see it with any sound, my computer's fault)
Congrats on graduating! I graduated from my class too, although I don't have any clips anywhere near as long as that. Just 5-ish second clips jamming in some sort of story or mood. I may post them, since you've posted your graduating material. _________________
