Okay, site's back up - for now

. I'm sending you all in with another wave to test things out and see if it can handle the load

. Unfortunately, somewhere in the site is some little bugger piece of code which is slowing down the whole site. So hopefully by opening back up, I can find it and fix it

Anyway, enjoy the site while it's back up again!

I'm really sorry for the inconveniences here. But when you make a beautiful feature-filled site, the thought doesn't usually occur to you that you could make it too great

. It's literally dying because of too many complicated features

so first comes a bunch of making things as efficient as possible!)

We'll let you know if something goes wrong - though it probably won't

It's really more of a "the site can crash any moment" instability than a "the video won't submit properly" thing

Just to let you all know, there was a corruption in the votes that resulted in every vote made as of about 2 PM PST today one higher than what it should be

(and don't look at me, there was some weeeeirrd database thing.) I've fixed it so it should all work now, but I thought I'd let you know in case you're wondering why LVI thinks you're so generous

Yeah, Vidding Help is all verklempt. And I'm not even entirely sure what verklempt really IS!

But I know it when I see it and when you try to get the links to the training vids, guides, etc. from the main site, you get nothing except some mysql errors at the bottom of the page.

*shoots mysql errors with rocksalt* When in doubt, use a Supernatural technique on 'em...

When I try submit my video picture the site gives me this:
"Your Image Upload has special characters.
These are not allowed.
Please change your file name and try again. "

I've tried renaming and re-saving the file multiple times. The characters shouldn't be unreasonable. I even resorted to saving it under the letter r. It's the right dimensions and the right file type so I don't know why its not working.

What's the whole text in the url of the image field? Like, after you select the image, what text shows up in the field?
Chances are, one of your folders has special characters. Just move it to the desktop and it should work great
