oh my god!
Just totally spoiled the episode for myself by reading the sypnosis (like the describes everything that happens thingy).
Sounds awsome but also seems the rumor that
There's only two reasons to watch Paulo & Nicki and if she doesn't get them out I'm not interested
Hopefully the stuff with Hurley, Sawyer, Sun and Boone, Shannon etc will get me interested. Funny I saw Quantum Leap this morning and it had Dr. Arzt _________________

So they both got buried alive!!! ... at the start of the show when she ran out of the jungle... I was agreeing the whole time with what Hurley thought she said. "Paulo lies" "Paralysed" that was awesome! I was fooled till the end...
It was overall a really great episode...loved seeing Shannon and Boone again...and the Season 1 stuff again .... cool how they edited new footage together... the nitpicker in me noticed Shannon's hair a tad longer then it was supposed to be in her "scream" scene from the Pilot... but I just shrugged it off no biggie really...
I had read spoilers weeks before about Sun finding out what happened to her. I assumed that she herself remembered somehow that it was Charlie and that she approached him about it. I was very happy that it was Charlie who came foward with it and finally told her what happened.
I was proud of him. I'm not sure if Sun has accepted Charlie's apology... she did rush off when he was about to... but his " I didn't mean to hurt you" was a sorry to me also....

Paulo and Nikki were my favorite characters and I am really upset that they were buried alive.
This in my opinion, was he best and most important episode of the season.
How ADORKABLE was Charlie in this episode, mmm?
Still no Jawyer, though. I'm gonna just have to write some fan-fiction.
After Sun punched him, Sawyer went back to his tent to nurse his sore jaw and fantasized about Jack for twenty minutes.... okay... five.

lol kc, how long is this gonna go on...?
But I can understand your feelings - Paulo and Nikki are totally my favorite characters. I can't BELIEVE they killed them!
That was so creeeeeepy - poor Paulo and Nikki. But I really loved this ep actually, it felt just like one of those Buffy eps where they took a fun twist with it and just did something outside-of-the-box rather than something that had anything to do with the plot. Great moment for some cool guest spots and a bunch of neat "behind-the-scenes" shots of known scenes (I bet those were fun for the Losties to reenact lol). Particularly the one of Ben and Juliette confirming why Jack and the others were taken (good to know, though kinda... stupid on Ben's part?).
I just freaking enjoyed this ep. A bunch of Lost making fun of itself with the "we all know what happens to guest stars" , and then ruthlessly taking Paulo and Nikki out, just like we wanted - I cheered when each of them was found - brilliant. But now I almost miss them LOL - it turns out Nikki is a LOT like the "Surreality version" .
And their final fate? Creeeeepy! That was totally "Lost" right there. That's what happens when you ignore the island and just worry about your own selfish little plot .
Sawyer giving up the diamonds - woah. I mean... sure, noble... but.... I can't honestly say I'd ever do that, even in the same situation .)
Speaking of redemption - wow, Charlie told! I guess that's because he actually did want a bit of redemption what with the "I might die soon" thing. Heh, now he can have a special relationship with Sun! "Hey Sun. Remember that time when I brutally dragged you through the jungle and knocked you unconscious? Haha! Good times, eh?"
Jokes aside though, that was... decent of him. That's better, Charlie. Nice.
And you know, normally I don't really care that much, but it was really nice to see everyone back together again - Boone, Shannon, Arzt, Ethan. They just popped up everywhere, heh.
Overall: good, fun ep. Better than Trisha Tanaka is Dead in that sense IMO. It was such a relief that Paulo and Nikki are gone (leaving our old Losties "safe" from usurping), but Lost once again managed to give them a good story that (almost) made me regret they're gone. They handled them perfectly in my opinion though - not taking them too seriously. And by letting us know early that they were "dead" I could enjoy their story without worrying . Brilliant!
*is happy with Lost lately*
(but not with the stupid teaser people - shameless. I don't spoil myself aside from that and this is how they repay me? By freaking making INSANELY misleading previews?!)
Oh, and btw: just so you all know, you don't have to put the spoiler text thing up once the ep has aired I keep feeling bad about being practically the only one without spoiler text at first... like you're all waiting for a mod to "announce" it's okay to talk .

The best thing about this ep was the Ben and Juliet scene. I think that was so cool that they had access to The Pearl. It adds credence to the theory they have been watching them in the hatch at least all last season.
The old island scenes were cool but with so many characters coming back I was left a little unfulfilled of my Ethan, Boone, Shannon and Arzt fix. The ending was amazing.
Overall a good ep but not one of my favourites.
Spoiler:
Next week's promo looks like Lost is dissolving into soap drama

The secret love affair between Jack and Sawyer? Cause the answer is FOREVER. Even Dean knows it's true.
Well duh, I would think that one is fairly obvious

And they even dragged the plane on top of the hatch too - thus the "convenient location" that we probably scoffed at back in "?"

I didn't think I would, but I LOVED the "alternate angle" scenes from the early eps! They just made me happy!
But dude, the whole buried alive thing... Not. Cool! Even though, granted it was much more horrible the way I first saw it (which was by, uh, looking at the end of the ep first... Hey, I was curious, okay! ). It helped to back up then discover that They Had It Coming since they killed What'sHisName the TV Dude. And of course, that they were kinda conning each other. Except for that whole Paulo's last "I did it so you would still need me!" speech. Which I'm presuming was so she wouldn't torture him while he was helpless.
I presuming that because it helps a little to make them as evil as possible so They REALLY Had It Coming, you understand? But still, that whole "Nikki's eyes opening as the dirt's thrown in her face" thing gave me the squicks. *shudders* Everybody's just got a primal terror of being buried alive, right? *is seriously squicked*
On the positive side:
Yay, ETHAN!!! (Hope he'll continue to "live" through the flashbacks like this. And hey, is it to much to hope for an Ethan flashback one day? I'd love to have his whole perspective on things, you know! ) And seeing Ben and Juliet spying on Jack was awesome! *Jacket squee for the "he's cute" line*
And next week:
Spoiler:
Catfight time! In this corner, Freckles "the Brawler" Austin! And in the other corner, Blondie "Stungun" Burke!

Ais, what is wrong with you?!?! *shakes head* Intervention!!!
Alright everyone, we all need to get together and help Aislynn overcome her addiction. The first step is admitting you have a problem, Ais.

I dunno, I think he genuinely meant it, and Nikki genuinely loved him lol, even though they were both so guilty for obsessing over the diamonds. By watching the show in the linear method (), I think that's the general feeling. But whatever helps you sleep at night .
But don't worry, the only people this happens to that "REALLY Had it Coming" are annoying background characters . Especially when they can't be bothered to tell others about important plot twists that could have saved our Losties from a ton of trouble - the ? Hatch, Ben and Juliette's plan, etc . heheh. It's the Island's justice!
Speaking of the Island's justice - anyone else notice the monster sound during the spider scene? Perhaps Hurley was right, and "you're next" really meant Paulo and Nikki. Perhaps the island is a little... pissed or something. Because it's going around killing people who obviously don't deserve it lately! First Eko, just because he didn't regret what he did, and now Paulo and Nikki for not letting go of the diamonds thing... Oooooooh...... spooky

I thought this was a good ep, not my fav cause I just can't STAND Nikki & Paulo, but it was great to see some old characters again. *SQUEEEEE for Boone* Cool to see the new scenes mixed in with Season 1 stuff!
