Okay I feel dumb, I feel like Oprah after the Janes Frey fiasco- but anyone who has downloaded PowerDirector on my recommendation- I would advise you to not start anything on there. I just lost the entire day of work I did yesterday on a vid because once again- the file became "unopenable" for no reason. This happened in the past and I chalked it up to a problem on my end- but this is a brand new computer. So Im very sorry...

Is this the new Power Director? I reverted back to the old one (4) cause it didn't have my usual encoding profiles and was about two times slower to load. I've never had any problems like that with it.

Yeah- its the new one. Several of my vids that were half done were scrapped altogether because I was so discouraged. If youve never had the problem, then I say sally forth.

Well, Ive quit over-reacting, I may give it another chance. Im going to d-load some other free trials (sorry everyone, maybe Im not that smart but I dont really like Vegas).
