I just downloaded a free trial of VideoStudio 11 to see how easy it is to work. While I figured out a lot of the features, I can't figure out how to Slow Down or Speed Up the clips. Can you do this? and If so, if you could explain how that would be great. _________________

It's really very simple, to the right of the preview screen there are two tabs; Video and Attribute. Under Video, click on play back speed and you'll get a little window with several options on how to adjust. I use this feature a lot, it's a great way to make a clip fit to the rhythm of the song. I just mess with the percentage until it fits the markers in the time line.
I love this program and find it very "user friendly".
I just "acquired" a copy of Sony Vegas Pro 8 and so far have not had the time and patience to figure it out. To be honest, I'm finding it a little intimidating, I need to go check out the Vegas thread.
Hope this helped:) |

Yay, more people who use Ulead! I've been using this program for years (since version 5.0) and I love it. I'm pretty familiar with it, so if you have any questions, ask away, I'll try to help as best I can! _________________ Heather |

Oh okay...thanks I'll have to try that out later tonight when i have a little extra time. And yeah i know what you mean..I downloaded a free trial of Sony Vegas, and attempted it once and just couldn't wrap my head around it, so I just looked for a little less of a complicated program, and Ulead seemed easy enough, i just couldn't figure out how to adjust the speed of it... _________________
