Hehe, Amy, Dom was DEFINITELY the reason I started watching Lost. What a good way to sum up why we miss him! 
Even non-Charlie fans miss him...my mom didn't like him NEARLY as much as she likes many of the other characters, but she agrees when I say the show hasn't been as good since he died.

the show will never be the same in my eyes. *sniff*
Do you know what I miss as well? The initial Jack/Kate/Charlie friendship. That was effectively ruined after seasons 2 n 3.

I don't know the exact quotes, but I love the scene from Catch-22 when Charlie and Hurley are arguing about whether or not the Flash is better than Superman.

Ooh, I miss when Kate and Charlie were friends too, Amy. That was cute. I miss the old days when Kate cared about people like Charlie and Sayid and her life didn't revolve around herself and Jack.  Oh Charlie.
I love that scene too, Elyse. I'm fond of the scene in Further Instructions when John is mute and Charlie kinda comes along all annoyed and sarcastic.

I wish Charlie and Sawyer had interacted more in the show. The few scenes where theey did interact were always funny and enjoyable. I loved the chemistry of their humor and sarcastic personalities.

| ^ *agrees* I loved Charlie and Sawyer's scenes. I wish Charlie had been alive and on "his" side with Claire and the others. It would have been cool to see how Charlie would have acted with Sawyer as the "leader" And then, as Sawyer became more mature, I wonder if they could have turned out to be friends |

aw, i totally agree peeps! the sawyer/charlie friendship was never fully explored! Lost truly missed out when they omitted scenes with more charlie/sawyer in them!

I don't think I have ever posted in this thread ... let's just pretend I haven't - anyway - Charlie has always been my fave Lost Character.
Right from the first season I have always loved him. I loved his sarcastic humour - his devotion and love for Claire and Aaron. I loved watching his struggles and him overcoming them. So when he died it hit me really hard. I remember it took me a lonnnnng time to get over it. I kept telling myself it's just a character on a tv show. But I would think about the scene and just start crying. I mean my face would be soaked with tears - I was shocked by how much his death effected me. I actually went through the whole grieving process. So now with the final season here and we got to see Charlie again....I hope it isn't the last time we see him. I mean I always hoped that there would be one last moment between him and Claire - just the shipper in me wishing. I mean the last moment they had together was bittersweet. I just want her to have Aaron back and for Sun to give her the ring. Just some kind of closure.
Sorry for my ramblings.... hope it made some sense 
I just don't want it now to be the last image we see of Charlie is him being taking away by police and being ungrateful for Jack saving his life *SIGH*
Just sharing with you my very first video I made of Charlie ... this video gave me my first and only Gold Council Pick ... WOW I made this back in 2005 and with Windows Movie Maker... it's funny everything I made after only got a silver rating .... hmmmm I really do want to make some more Charie/Claire vids though...

Those mean cops! I hate them!! But I have a tiny theory of what's gonna happen to Charlie next, let me know what you guys think:
Since Kate has just hi-jacked a taxi directly in front of the marshel, he will flag down the nearest cop car to chase the taxi, since I'm guessing his car or another taxi isn't easy to get fast enough. The nearest cop car would be the one taking Charlie to jail. So, the cops holdling Charlie will be chasing Kate, who's holding Claire. It makes sense don't you think?

Anyone think Charlie and Claire are somehow going to meet up soon?  I dunno how they'd work that out, but they've gotta....*crosses fingers* They can't have this be the final season and NO PB&J!

I'm pretty sure we'll get some PB&J. I can't see how they could let the final season pass without them 2 comming together in some way, same goes for Claire and Aaron.
