Just thought I'd let you guys know that I might disappear for a few days to a week, after Wed, as I'm set to have surgery on Wednesday and might not feel like getting on the computer for a few days. It's more of a wait and see thing, as it takes quite a lot to keep me away from the computer too long. It's nothing too serious, but apparently my doctor believes that my gallbladder must come out (apparently it's only working at 25%, which is apparently not good.) and I'm inclined to agree if only because I've been in pretty wickedly bad amounts of pain over the past few days.
I do have myself pretty freaked out since I've never actually done the surgery thing before. _________________

Hope you're feeling better soon.
Don't worry too much about the surgery. I've had family members have this surgery and they've done just fine. It's made them feel a lot better.
See you back at LVI soon.

Hey guys. Just wanted to update you. I had my surgery early this morning (like I can't even say the time because I was up before the sun ... which is never cool!) and they kept me there for almost 10 or so hours just to make sure everything went okay and that I was doing well. That I could walk and move on my own (which I am having some trouble with. Just some stiffness brought on by the anesthesia apparently.)
But, I am home now, resting, pretty well as comfortably as one can, after having something removed from their body. My stomach area is a bit sore and tender, but nowhere near as bad as the pain I experienced before the surgery.
I ate my first real meal when I got home (my doctor was mean enough to put me on a clear food diet when I was at the hospital. Lots of broth, jello, and Popsicles, none of which is filling. Which sucks majorly when it's been well over 12 hours since you last ate.).
So I'm just, I'm fine. Just wanted you guys to know that everything is A-okay. I just might not been a whole lot over the next ten days. That's the time line my doctor gave me for how long I will likely be sore. If it eases up much from the pain level I'm at now, then I will probably be back sooner rather than later. _________________
