How can I make Real Player NOT my default player? I am about to strangle it. I want Windows Media Player to be my default player.

right click on a video file and click open with then select media player and tick the box open it always with this program.

I heard a reinstall of windows movie player's latest version corrects this.

I'm going to try PolarBear's suggestion first...

*edit - Yay! It worked! I just had to do it for a few different filetypes that's all.

Yes, it's very gratifying. And in my defense, at least you didn't have to make me a "tutorial" in order to figure it out. I am SOMEWHAT computer literate, thank god.
