Anyway thanks and l'm SO glad you liked it Mandi.
Yep it was my first Vegas vid. Took me about 3 weeks to do. LOL.'
But thats because l didn't know how to do much with it, l still don't.

Putfile's been a real pain in the ass! lol. Thank you for offering to too.

I'm a huge C/C shipper... love 'em to death! I'm constantly searching for some great C/C vids as inspiration for my own vids... and I gotta tell you, yours is by far one of the best I've seen in a long long time! Loved it...

All right, I have to say right off the bat: I never like shipper videos.

That being said, I loved yours.

Charlie/Claire is a difficult pairing to vid, because A) in the early days, EVERYBODY did C/C videos, and B) due to that first reason, many angles of the relationship have already been seen. However, this video set itself apart from the pack in three ways:

1) As opposed to the usual aching ballad, this was a much more uplifting song choice.

2) Instead of long, endless clips of the two of them talking, you keep the tempo up and the clips short and sweet.

3) The editing was much more sophisticated than many of the early C/C vids, especially with the split-screen effect (which I really liked).

Overall, your storytelling was excellent. This video is a product of hard work and attention, and that always shows. I give this fabulous video:

* * * * --- four out of four stars

Keep up the good work, it's always nice to see a good video.

The fact that you not only watched my vid (even when you don't like shipper vids, like you said) but you also took the time to write up all that.......I'm just.......WOW!

It was my first full Vegas video so you know.....had to have the split screen in there somewhere. lol.
And just like the Untitled song I used for my other C/C vid, as soon as I heard that song by Tonic it screamed C/C to me, I had to vid to it.

It was just too perfect for this ship to pass up. lol

Hi Holly,

I already told you how much I love this vid, but I wanted to give you some feedback on this site.

Song/Theme: You chose the perfect song. It was perfect for C/C's relationship because it showed how Charlie trys to protect Claire even though he isn't always able to. Plus it was upbeat but you still managed to show their love for each other. It was great to see a shipper type vid with a theme beyond just C/C love each other (although you did a great job showing the true nature of their love and their sweet moments together.

Editing: Your editing skills are mind blowing. You did an awesome job in matching the beats as well as the feel of the song. The amazing quick cuts at around 1:08 and 2:40 were incredible but the rest of the editing was perfect as well. No scene ever felt rushed and every scene change was in the perfect place. I don't think it could have been edited any better.

Scene Selection: This is what really made the video amazing to me. There are so few scenes of these characters, especially Claire, that it is hard to find good C/C scenes. You found ones that were perfect for the story you were telling and that fit perfectly with the lyrics/music. You chose some really sweet moments like where Claire kissed Charlie on the cheek. My favorite was the ending scene where he was playing his guitar and looking at her that was so well chosen. I saw you said that was from a promo vid or something. I'm really impressed that you went outside the show to pick out a scene to make your vid original.

Special effects: The special effects were amazing especially since this was your first vid on Vegas. The split screens were my favorite effect that you used. They looked better than split screens though. When I watched it I thought that C/C were in the same scene together because you matched up the backgrounds so well. The interlaces and the crossfade transition were great too.

Overall: One of the greatest videos I've ever seen. I give it an 11/10 because it was better than perfect.

You always leave the best feedback a person could ever ask for and I'm always tickled when you write me such sweet compliments, especially since I'm such a huge fan of your vids. I tell ya Keith, I know in my heart that if you ever do decide to make a Lost vid one of these days it'll kick major ass! You're already so talented and familiar to the vidding world that I know your vid would be smokin' what from your awesome Smallville vids I've seen.
