The producers say Vincent will play a big part in S2... Vincent was in the back of the plane when the plane crashed! Which means he must have been somewhere near A-L and the others, and then ran from there to Jack, right after the plane crashed. But a dog doesn't run THAT fast! And Vincent was unharmed...

know what I think? Vincent was with A-L and the other survivors when he was missing (Walt was constantly looking for him in the Pilot, remember?). I think Vincent met A-L and the others...

or am I completely off base here?

I agree I think he will either appear in episode seven which SPOILER: is meant to be a flashback to what the tail survivors got up to or he will get his own episode.
