I've been rewatching Carnivale the last week.... still one of the best shows ever made Any news on whether they're POSSIBLY planning on picking it up again? How can they end it with so many loose ends!!? Not just the Sophie thing, but there were tons of visions of Bens, and everything still! no fair... |

Good heavens I'm up late!
I agree! But for the record, I'm only responding because that would make a great T-Shirt!
The words "NO FAIR!" In big letters across the front and on the back have the heading "RIP" and underneath list the countless amazing shows that were cancelled before their time was up,
Carnivale, Dead Like Me, Freaks & Geeks, Wonderfalls, Firefly, My So-Called Life, Seinfeld (KIDDING!), American Gothic, etc. etc. |

wait a second, if you're implying that Seinfeld is not one of the best shows ever, I'll have lost some respect for you KC.
In other Carnivale news, I will finish my Justin vid someday. ! _________________

Brother Justin is a hero. So is Locke. I should have my head examined.
Now THAT is a vid I can look forward to. |

I love Carnivale I never knew there was a thread here. I've watched both seasons and they are so good. I am really bummed they aren't making a third cause its not over. I wanted to see Justin's masterplan and stuff _________________

We should sign an ePetition, as useless and stupid as they are.
What I'd llike to know is what those visions of Ben's were whenever he touched an item with the templar crest on it (like that guy's ring, and that band of Scudder's that they gave Lodz and freaked him out.) It was some vision that looked like a medieval war zone, with the heads on the sticks and the gruesome bag full of limbs... and yeah What was with that? As far as I know, they never mentioned that. |

Okay well basically there has been one bad guy and one good guy down the ages. The guy behind the curtain was the original bad guy and Ben's dad was the good guy. We go to the battlefield cause the russian guy behing the curtain fought there and Lodz was there too presumably. Hope that made sense Remember when ben sees the writing on that wooden beam? It says AVATAR all across it ie. a vessell for each bad/goodness to dwell in and Ben is good Justin is evil. _________________

Haha, not that Seinfeld is one of my favorite shows or anything, but I wasn't implying it wasn't good. I was implying (correctly) that it didn't die an early death like the others. It was a kind of, 'Which one of these doesn't belong." |

Yeah, but those particular visions of Ben's didn't look like they were from the same war Beleokoff and Scudder fought in. They had guns in that one, while in the vision Ben had, the guys in there were wearing freakin' chainmail! Plus, no scene with heads on sticks has passed by so far... So I doubt the vision has been fulfilled yet. Unless of course it's just supposed to mean that the avatar lineage went back all the way until then... but that's kinda a roundabout way of going by it! |

oh sorry yeah I wrote that post at 2am I was really tired lol Yeah I think it went back till then I presume to the templars. Also do you remember the vision of Sophie and Ben on that field and a nuclear bomb goes off or something. I guess that could be what Ben eventually has to avoid I dunno though. _________________

I know this is a long post, so please bear with me. This is from Beth over at Carny Con and the Yahoo Brother Justin Group I belong to:
Come one, come all...
The CarnyCon LIVE convention is a GO!
www.carnycon.com
CarnyCon LIVE is an in-person, fan-run convention for "Carnivale"
fans, and we are taking paid registrations starting TODAY!
CarnyCon LIVE will be held in Los Angeles on the weekend of Friday,
April 21st 2006 thru Sunday, April 23, 2006.
What will CarnyCon LIVE entail?
CarnyCon LIVE will begin Friday evening with a casual meet & greet
party for the fans. Carnivale treats, such as popcorn, soda, hot dogs,
etc. will be offered for purchase, and the fans will have the opportunity
to mingle and get to know one another in a friendly and fun-filled
atmosphere. Saturday will be filled with Question and Answer periods
with folks from the Carnivale cast and crew, as well as an autograph
session. There will be a Saturday Lunch Buffet served, and a Dinner
Buffet/Party on Saturday night -- and BOTH meals are INCLUDED in the
price of your registration! Sunday will also be filled with various
Carnivale guest speakers and panels through mid-afternoon.
It is too early to confirm celebrity guests, but Dan Knauf, Clancy
Brown, Adrienne Barbeau, Tim DeKay, Cynthia Ettinger, Debra
Christofferson, and Brian Turk have ALL expressed interest in joining the
fans at CarnyCon! (All celebrity appearances are contingent upon
professional availability, of course.) We will be able to better confirm
our guest list as we get closer to the actual dates of the convention.
Our Hotel Room Block Rate will be $89.00 per night, plus taxes (which
is a GREAT price for Los Angeles!). The hotel is a Hilton, and we will
announce booking information as soon as the hotel is ready to start
taking reservations in the CarnyCon Room Block.
Registration fees for Attending Members are $150 (if registration is
sent in BEFORE Sept. 1, 2005), $165 (if registration is sent between
Sept.2, 2005 thru Dec. 1, 2005), $175 (if registration is sent between
Dec. 2, 2005 thru April 1, 2006.) International fans, please pay in US
Funds only please.
We WILL accept registrations via PayPal (with an additional, non
refundable PayPal service fee.) PayPal prices (US Funds only, please),

registration is sent between Sept.2, 2005 thru Dec. 1, 2005), $181 (if
registration is sent between Dec. 2, 2005 thru April 1, 2006.)
Attending Memberships for Children between the age of 3 and 12 years

member who will be responsible for their actions.
There will be NO memberships taken at the door.

convention but who would still like to contribute money to help support
CarnyCon LIVE), are $50.00. All Supporting Members will receive a royal
blue Carnivale baseball cap (the same as the ones given out to the cast
and crew), and a Thank You Letter signed by Dan Knauf and Clancy Brown.
Supporting Membership caps and letters will start being shipped by
September 1st. We will also accept payments for Supporting Memberships
via PayPal (with an additional, non-refundable service fee.) The PayPal

We also have a MINIMUM of Attending Memberships we need to reach. If
by August 1, 2005 we have NOT reached close to that minimum number,
CarnyCon LIVE will be cancelled. We will send back ALL Attending and
Supporting Member registration checks and will send refund checks (MINUS
any non-refundable PayPal service fees) to those members who paid via
PayPal. If cancellation of CarnyCon becomes necessary due to the minimum
NOT being reached, a post announcing that fact will be made by August
15th, 2005, and the refund process will be set in motion by August 31,
2005, with all members receiving their refunds by the end of September,
2005, if not sooner.
We hope you will join us at the CarnyCon LIVE in Los Angeles next
spring! It'll be great to put faces to names, party with our fan friends
from all over the world, and spend time with the very generous cast &
crew of "Carnivale" who we've all grown so close to in this wonderful
fandom. If you enjoyed the ONLINE CarnyCon, we think you will enjoy the
live and in person version even more.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Best wishes,
