I used Let that be enough by Switchfoot which isn't really about dogs at all, the lyrics was just kind of went well with the video, so... I'm sure you guys could come up with something great. And No! please no Who let the dog out crap! |
My song choice isn't about dogs either...it's just that it screamed Vincent, Walt, and Shannon to me. Or, well, to be fair, I was listening to the Drunken Lullabies album while writing fic and "If I Ever Leave This World Alive" came up and I heard the final part of the lyrics for the thousandth time, and it just popped into my head how perfectly it fit the Shannon/Vincent storyline of Exodus. And then the whole vid idea sprang into being. _________________

Same here, Chica! Can't wait to see your vid!
I have mine completely done, except for the credits. Which I've made ridiculously hard to do, for some weird reason... So it'll probably be another week or more before I have the whole thing done.
*sigh* And nobody's going to possibly look at these credits and think that they could've taken me so long to do! Oh well, what's art without suffering, huh?
No, wait, isn't that supposed to be "what's Arzt without suffering?" Lol!
Oy. Never mind me. It's back to work on the Insanely Difficult Credits I go...

You know, this may have been answered elsewhere but I can't seem to find it if it has... Anyway, the last time I entered an LVI contest, we were asked to use this format for the file name of our vid: LVI_Contest Month_Vidder's name. Does that still apply? Or can we just name them how we want? I believe I've read that you put something like "June 2005 contest vid" for its description when you submit it to LVI...
Sorry if that's a dumb question! But hey, somebody has to ask 'em, now don't they?

PS - Still not finished with the credits but am getting closer! |

I guess the file name is pretty much up to you at this point. Just follow the submission rule. OK Does that mean your vid is done?? Can't wait. _________________

Uhhh.... disregard what LZ said Itwould be MUCH easier if the file was named according to vidder, because it's really really tough sorting them to make sure you have them all afterwards. This way it's a LOT easier to do >.< sorry, but that's been a huge problem in the past, which is why we made up that rule... |

Yay! So glad to see your vid at last, Chica!
Great use of clips! I really loved when the Shannon part of the story took over. It brought out entirely new meanings in the lyrics and tied everything together so nicely! Excellent job!
See, people? You don't need a "dog" song for this to work! (Although I think "Atomic Dog" is still unclaimed out there, so if it inspires you, well then, go for it! )
I'm thisclose to having my Insanely Complicated Credits done! The bad news is that WMM is estimating the vid will be 10.1 MB after rendering, which is a bit too large for PutFile. I'm hoping that WMM is guessing high and it'll end up under that 10 MB limit. Otherwise, I've got to find some way to cut it or I'll end up having to render it at a lesser quality, which I'd rather not do! Everybody wish me luck!
