|
|
I just got myself SONY Vegas Movie Studio 6. (Christmas Prezzie to myself!)
Anyways I was just trying to install it and there seems to be somekind of problem.
When I click 'Install Vegas Movie Studio Software', I get a pop up saying 'Product name full':
I click the OK button and I get another pop up:
I have already install the DVD Architect Studio software, which installed fine with no such problems.
I had previously installed the trail version, which has now expired.
Any help with this would be much appriciated.
Thanks |

First off, congrats on getting Vegas Movie Studio! (Christmas presents for yourself are the best! )
I searched the errors that it mentioned and didn't come up with anything, which is always very frustrating!
I would imagine from what it's saying, that's it's got something to do with the fact that there was a trial version, now expired, still on the hard drive and it's keeping this version from installing correctly.
What I'd probably try would be to uninstall the trial version, so it'll be starting clean. Go to Start - Control Panel - Add or remove programs and see if Sony Vegas Movie Studio is already on the list. Click it and then click "remove."
Then I'd give it a try installing it from the CD. Not sure if that will do the trick but it's a place to start, maybe! Let us know what happens! Good luck! |

YEY! YAY! And YIPEEEEEEEEEE!
I've finally got it working!
There was no uninstall for the trail so I was like bummer!
But I looked in Program Files and found a way to remove program!
But still it wouldn't work. So I just deleted the whole file.
I then managed to install it from the CD.
And now it's working great.
They really need to make going from the trail to the real thing easier!
Thanks again for the help Aislynn.
I started a vid on the trail. So I'll get that finished off & you can look forward to my first vid with Vegas coming soon!
So pleased I've got it working! Yey! *runs around the room screaming yippeeee*
