If you have ever wanted to create a tear-jerking video, you'll know just how hard it is to find that perfect song. Therefore I am creating this topic so we can all share the sad love songs we all now and love.

I wouldn't recommend neither "My Immortal" nor "What hurts the most", to be honest. "My Immortal" has been used 3 times already and the other even 6 times!

True but only 2 silver medals for each song. So there is still a little room for them to be used but you better have a good idea behind it/ vidding skills/execution etc. if you wish to use them.
There are many instrumental (movie/tv themes), classical, oldies ( Motown etc) and contemporary songs that are sad but I really don't feel like listing mine since I'll probably use them down the road

Locke'd Out Again is probably the saddest song I've ever heard. 
Ruled By Secrecy is pretty sad. I made a request for that. You could also look for movie soundtracks to find a sad song.

yeah i think locke'd out again is really sad i nearly cried at that when locke was banging at the hatch
