What kind of music do you listen to?
It feels like a lot of LVI'ers are into music like Green Day, which I am too, but I'm more like... a little bit of everything. I totally love Green Day, but I love BWO even more. They can make your day bright through their music, I swear. They're so different from other bands, I totally adore them. If you don't like their kind of music then you don't. I didn't like that style until I heard BWO.
I just thought it be interesting to hear what your music is like.

Out of those options, I'd have to pick punk as the style I listen to most, but that doesn't even come close to covering it--for one thing, I listen to very little contemporary/popular "punk" music; my tastes run more towards the Pogues, the Ramones, the Clash, etc. And I listen to so many other genres as well (most of them unlisted in your poll

) that it's really not even close to a definition...

Well I didn't now what to choose, but I guess Rock comes that music near I am listening most in the moment.

In the moment I am listening a lot of J-Rock and Visual Kei. OkI don't speak any japanese, but the most japanese bands of that kind just ROCK *yeah* ^^

And I like stuff like Jack Johnson, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Matthew Good and bands like System of a Down, Disturbed, Arctic Monnkeys, Smash Mouth, Pennywise... just Music that sounds good to me ^^

And I also listen to a bit Metal (scandinavian most and a bit German Black Metal)

oh and I LOVE Medieval Music from Germany, like Subway to Sally, or Schandmaul, In Extremo to list a few...guess you never heard about them? ^^

Well see, I am listening to a lot of music, but what I really don't like is that hardcore Punk, that gives me the headaches ^^

And this R&B/Rap... just isn't my thing. There are a few songs, for example from the black eyed pees that have a great beat but I couldn't hear that kinda music the whole time.

I chose rock on the poll. 'Cause i'm mainly into Rock/Indie type stuff.

But, over the years i've gone through many, many genres. One year i'd be listening to Spice Girls and the next i'd be listening to Green Day.

Hmm, I'd have to say ROCK, as well. But it's a little broader than just heavy metal rock - I also like Indie/Rock (like the Killers) and alternative rock. I may get into a pop song once or twice. And then there are artists like Damien Rice which I can't even begin to categorize.

I'm voting rock.
