Come on, who do you think is the best actor that pops up in the flashbacks of the characters past? Anyone you want, could be Nathan Fillion despite his tiny part if you like lol. Because I think it's one of the things that makes Lost so good, that there are so many good actors and actresses used for all areas of the show.

I have to go for John Terry I think (Christian Shephard, Jack's father). Not only does the character suit him perfectly, but he just does such a wonderful job with it. Every time we see him, which has been quite a few times now, he gets things spot on for the different angles he plays and characters within the character. Whether he's arguing with Jack or drinking his heart out in a bar with Sawyer he's just perfect every time, and despite the fact he's been a bit of a 'blight' to Jack's life and career, you still feel for him, which I think comes a lot from Terry.

I'll be quiet now....

Definetly agree about John Terry. I also think Locke's dad and Helen are both great flashback characters.

I have to go with Jack. I like the story of his marrige, going from good to bad. And his stuff with his father is pretty intresting. But mostly, his the stuff about his marrige is why I like his flashbacks.

He's a main character, ie on the island. He's not allowed, and we already know Foxy is the best actor

Has to be someone from the flash backs only, who do you think does the best job there?

I agree John Terry is probably the best. He acts the role brilliantly.
I also think that Locke's dad is great. I don't like him but I think he's brilliantly nasty and creepy.
Also I love Katey Segal (Helen), I think shes great.

I think Lenny played by Ron Bottitta was amazing when we found out about those numbers!

And of course, Penny Widmore - All we really need to survive is one person who truely loves us and you have her - I love her and Desmond's tragic love story and the whole mystery of the phonecall at the end of S2.

I love Katey Segal, but I also love Swoosie Kurtz (Locke's mom). She had a pretty good spot in there. And I really kinda miss her screentime too.

Oh, and Randall.... best jerk ever.
