did he die in the hatch in the last episode of season 2??

I think it's pretty obvious what happened...obviously Eko died then was recreated in the form of a chimpanzee, while Locke has become a giant squirrel. Looking forward to next season, the whole animal thing could cause a lot of conflict.

yah, thats what i thought, but like, charlie didnt seem that upset when he was bythe fire with claire, they didnt even mention it.

I don't wanna be mean, but I totally hate him since the Season 2 finale. Well, I didn't like him much before either because he's kinda false and not much of a real friend to anyone (except for Claire; I think that his interest in her and Aaron is real and honest). And the fact that he left Locke, Eko and Desmond behind makes me hate him even more.

I can't and don't want to accept that any of the three guys is dead. We don't know much about Eko and Des yet and Locke is one of the leading characters. It's just not fair that the writers are killing off those characters that we hardly know anything about. They always seem to be doing this right at the point when the characters are becoming more interesting.

Unfortunately, I think Eko may be dead.

They seem to be trying to get rid of the talies. I think it's so that they can kill off characters that we aren't as attached to, having only seen them for a season. Plus, Eko has now had two flashbacks hasn't he..?

I don't think Desmond or Locke are dead though, Locke's too much of a valuable character. And if they kill Desmond off after giving us only one flashback I will be seriously pissed!

I'm actually starting to think that too, DS. I'm sure one of them has gotten pretty badly injured, but Hobbes, I don't think he'll die, whoever it is. And I'd say Desmond is safe because Penelope is trying to find him...if she ever got to the island (I dunno if she will, I'm kinda confused how that storyline's gonna go when they say you can never find the island.

) and Desmond wasn't there, it'd be stupid.

If anyone is gonna die, it'll probably be Eko, but I dont think anyone will die at this stage. Know who I'd like to see die? Aaron. Sorry, but come on, think about how sad that'd make everyone, especially Claire and Charlie.

Oh and my thoughts on the Charlie thing: Charlie's always been an annoying drug-induced wussy hobbit in my opinion, but I can see why he left the hatch like that...I mean, think about it...would you wanna risk your life to save someone else? Some people (like Eko and Desmond) would, but some people (like Charlie) wouldn't. And I can't say what I would do, since I think it'd be one of those things you could only decide if you were in the situation. What pisses me off most about Charlie in that ep is that he didn't say anything about Eko, Locke and Desmond, he just said his ears hurted...I'm hoping his ears fall off next season actually.

Yeah, well that makes me more annoyed about Charlie. And I know you don't kill babies off, but I'm just saying it'd shake things up a lot. All the survivors would be lost, haha another pun.
