As much as I HATE to admit it, given that I am a raving Sawyerette and a humongous Skate fan, I think that if you watch the US promo close enough it gives possibility for both sides.

I have a bad, bad feeling that they're pumping up Skate so much that they're going to make an "unexpected" twist and go totally Jate.  So, as much as I hate to say it, it's probably not over.

BUT.
They're pumping it so obviously, that it makes me think that they are going to put Sawyer & Kate together because we all expect them to twist it like that.
That promo wasn't very edited in my opinion. So it looks like it's going to be Sawyer & Kate. Although I would prefer Kate & Jack.

Ditto. Totally. I think they're going to follow the exact same formula as last season: lots of Skate scenes (her sitting by his bedside, helping him take his meds, helping him walk outside, helping him with his exercises, the banana-tossing scene, the scene in the rain, etc.) then they'll pull the rug out from under the Skaters and that'll be that. *pout* This time I'm predicting it'll either be because Sawyer cons her again in some way (is it okay to refer in detail to the promos for next weeks ep here?  ) or it'll be after Sawyer, Kate and Jack are back "home" with the rest of the Losties, all will be settling down, the Skate will be in full bloom and then...
Jack will tell Kate about Sawyer and Ana-Lucia. Then bye-bye, beautiful Skate!

Sawyer and Kate make a better couple by far. Not to mention I like the idea of Juliet and Jack even if it turns out to be a doomed relationship. So I'm praying that the producers see that Kate and Sawyer should stick together.

Oh, that's just soooooo true! If Lost runs until all the actors are old and gray, the drama of the show will be who can chase Kate the fastest with their walker (made out of bamboo and that neverending supply of blue tarp), Ol' Doc Sheppard or Grampa Ford...  |

One of them could have died by then. Fell off a cliff. There are lots of cliffs on Lost, you know.
And whoever's still alive would have Kate, but Kate would be too old to care... or she'd be a corpse too. Or everyone would be dead and come back as zombies, chasing each other around and the triangle would continue forever and ever and EVER!!!!!

The promo could be tricking us even more.
They could be doing a voice over from a flashback! But that depends on whether its a Kate flashback. Cos we always do AUs, and use voice overs to make it look like something else in our videos.
Oh well. I dunno. I'm a Jater, but I think if its not the above, then it might be Skate. Nevermind. I'm losing interest in the love triangle thing now. I just want to see more Boone

I think DS is right. They're pushing Skate so when Jack and Kate get back together it'll go that way.
The fact is that for a US TV show, I find it hard to believe she won't go off with the hero
