All-encompassing topic, and probably will end up eating some of the other small topics brought up on this subject since there aren't all that many game enthusiasts here, we might as well stick together
So, KH2 March 28th If anyone knows what that is, consider yourselves a very good person. |

You're my hero!!! Make sure you beat the bonus bosses, and the Hades cup tournament. I just got back from a friend's house today and he didn't even know there were extra bosses... tsk tsk...
Too bad you're in the wrong genre to get most of the references to FF in that game. Otherwise you'd really like the Sephiroth battle...
Steph, get in here! |

i just found out the 3 questions you answer at the begining determine the difficulty level of the game. doh wish i'd have known! not that medium is hard, but i only have so much time to play videogames!
..and i have played FFVII (the 'best' one most people will say) and my bro has also played FFIII(USA) and FFX so he is pointing out the people to me.
btw I'm in Tarzan world right now. btw WTF is up with the gummi-ship? is it just me or is it the lamest thing ever. _________________

That game looked really cool! I saw a promo for it, maybe I'll pick it up. I have yet to finish Pokemon XD Gale of darkness. (closet nerd) Right now I'm trying to strengthen my pokemon at Mount Battle. Whew! I feel like I've been doing it forever.
NES! E, you rock! My NES broke a long time ago, but I used to play Castlevania all the time. I always remember the music was awesome, and I'd walk around all day humming it. |

Well not reaaaallly.... it determines the speed you level: fast at first, slow later, fast later, slow at first, or medium all the way. And it doesn';t affect the difficulty much, especially if you're at Tarzan world already lol. It's probably best you answered honestly, because it will then change according to your personality (well, sort of, since those questions were far from specific heheh)

Sweet! I haven't really played the earlier FFs anyway, so it didn't affect me much either. But it's cool that they do it all, and it must be so amazing for some of these fans to be able to fight with these characters in 3D for the first time.

erm.... no comment.
I'm pretty sure whoever came up with that idea was shot, anyway. And I've heard the gummi ship was pretty-much eliminated from the KH2. Though you have to admire the fact that they tried to put in that they had absolutely no reason to, and they probably could have saved a lot of space, but they put it in! And it's like a shout-out to Starfox not that it makes it okay.... but hey! The rest of the game still rules

heheheh you can't go wrong with Pokemon. I played that one, but idn't bother finishing it (I just rented it). I've only gone as far as Silver and Gold, then kinda gave up. Too many damn pokemon catching them all is a painful ordeal when there are over 700.
I'm pretty sure I was too young to play Castlevania when I had my NES... I'd probably have nightmares. |

Yes! Castlevania has THE BEST VIDEO GAME MUSIC EVER! I have so many CV1-3 mixes on my ipod... check out http://powergoat.com/page2.html for a bunch of really good ones! Sometimes i just listen to the original NSFs too.
btw i think i had over 100 hours on Pokemon Sapphire! I tried playing Fire Red too but it was more like a downgrade so that didn't last long. But Ruby/Sapphire was awesome. I hope the DS generation pokemon games are as good! _________________

Wow, I had 70 some hours on my Firered Pokemon. I played it endlessly. I think the first ones I played was Gold & Silver. Then continued from then on. I love those games. I can't wait to see if they release a version for the DS.
Warren, I am the most diligent person when it comes to these games. My son now knows what diligent means because I don't stop. It's like a drug! LOL. I get so wrapped up in them that sometimes I'll stay up til 4am diligently playing these games. It's fun, you only live once, right?
E! Thanks man, I'm going to download some of those. The screencaps!!! Ah, how they take me back. I wonder if they will ever release a new version of that game?
Oooh, speaking of new versions....they are releasing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess May 15. I always laugh because of the character from Drawn Together...Zander. LOL. That show is so silly. I can't wait til this comes out, my butt will parked in front of the TV playing until 4am!!!!LOL. |

Whenever I go to my friend's house that's ALL we play Love that game. I get to be ammunition (I BRING those blue sparks ) while my friend drives. We entered last year's tournament at PAX, didn't win , but it certainly was memorable. We were in one race that we needed a good score on to stay ahead, we were about 5th, and closing fast, when the whole group in front of us got hit by a bomb cart (this was that level with the bridge and the cars... you know what I mean lol) anyway, that got us into second place, and this was the final lap. We could see the first place guy far ahead, right in the middle of the bridge, and all I had was a bomb box. He was just seconds away from winning, so I said "what the hell" and tossed the bomb box forward. it landed DIRECTLY on top of him, sent him flying straight up into the air, and we zipped past into first place.
It was so awesome with an entire room full of bystanders watching the game, and the huge gasp from that "PWNED!"
Anyone play Shadow of the Colossus? FFX? Chrono Trigger/Cross? Pikmin? |
