Hey, i have been using WMM for a while now, and i am suddenly having a really wierd (and VERY annoying) problem with it. It's hard to explain, but i'm gunna have a go, because it is really bugging me.

The song that i am using for my video is 3 minutes and 36 seconds long. But when i import it into WMM it keep saying it's 5 minutes 44 seconds long!
And then, if i play the part of the project i have done so far (Which is only about 15 seconds) from the begining, it is in time with the music. But if i start playing it from a little while in, it is all out of time and the clips don't fit. So everytime i want to cut a clip down so it is in time with the music, it have to play the whole project to find out where i am and where i need to cut it.
This isn't so much of a problem at the moment, but as i go along and the video gets longer, it's going to get more and more annoying.

I bet that made no sense whatsoever did it? lol.

But it really is annoying me, so if anybody understands what i am talking about then any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

This has happened a few times to me too. I think it has something to do with the song file or something

What I do: Drop the song into the timeline and save it by itself as a wma, then replace the screwed up file with what you've saved. The file you made will say 5:44 but if you play it form the middle or something it'll be 3:36 (hopefully) Hope that helps.
