What's up with everyone today? I'm at work and bored and nobody is posting anything
So since I am without amusement of any kind I figured I'd start a thread about the music everyone likes.
I wish I could be doing this from home, then I could upload some songs to share but alas, I am not, so just talking about it will have to do until then
I'm big into alternative rock.
As you can probably tell from my vids my favorite artist EVER is Matthew Good. He's amazing to an insane degree (and he's probably a little insane too but that's alright).
He's pretty popular in Canada, not so much in the US. So I doubt many of you have heard a lot of songs by him. Which is a real shame as pretty much everything he sings is amazing.
Other bands I like are A Perfect Circle, Franz Ferdinand, Our Lady Peace, The Odds, Radiohead, and Bif Naked.
I'm totally going to upload some Matt Good songs for anyone who wants any once I get home.
Some good songs if you want to download any on your own in the meantime are "Strange Days", "Apparitions", "Everything is Automatic", "The Future is X-Rated", "Weapon", and "Man of Action".
So, entertain me. Which bands are you guys into? |

One of my favourite artists is David Usher, I just love his lyrics and style, he is my male Ani DiFranco! I also love pretty much everything from Sarah McLachlan, Poe, Frou Frou, NIN, KoRn, Jann Arden, Melissa Etheridge, Ks' Choice, Kidneythieves, Plumb, Matchbox 20...
For mainstream I go with Maroon 5, Linkin' Park, Limp Bizkit and Eminem and German artists would be Die Fantastischen Vier, Herbert Grönemeyer, Freundeskreis and Böhse Onkelz.... |

I've heard the minibosses! they played at PAX last year in Seatle, which, of course, is the Penny Arcade Exposition, which of course is a video game convention.... *cough* Actually, I have a bunch of their songs right here on my comp sha-wing!
Uh... I'm not that opinionated as far as music goes. There are lots of artists who have only one song I really like, like Amanda Marshall, and then there are few who I enjoy most, if not all, of their songs, like Linkin Park. Yeah, it's a little lame to like them, but I can't help it, some songs are just plain awesome.
I don't know or remember the rest really , but I know I've learned more about music, and what type of it I like, just from this experience, so I'm happy |
