Lost Video Island

Sorry if there is a similar post somewhere here, but has anyone noticed that there is a certain pattern with some characters and their flashback episodes.

Charlie/Sawyer for instance.
Every Charlie flashback episode was followed by a Sawyer one.
[The Moth/Confidence Man, Homecoming/Outlaws, and Fire+Water/The Long Con.]

Could this tie in with their new-found "evil alliance" as seen at the end of The Long Con? Are the writers trying to tie in characters that will interact the most with other with the order of their flashbacks.

Furthermore, there is a Charlie/Sawyer/Sayid connection for the two of the three Sayid episodes we've had.
[The Moth/Confidence Man/Solitary and Fire+Water/The Long Con/One of Them.]

And there's even a Charlie/Sawyer/Sayid/Claire connection. (Highlight these sections to reveal the words because I know some people here are completely closed to any spoilers. Don't want to upset anyone

Any thoughts on anything? Do you think the writers are just pulling this out at random or is there some clandestine meaning to all of this. I'd love to hear anyone's ideas.
