Which programme to you need to make all these amazing videos! (btw ive looked at a few and they are great! ) and where do you get the video clips to make them!?! any help much appriciated

The one most people here have started on is Windows Movie Maker. Not sure if anyone here has a link to where to download it. It may even already be on your computer, under Accessories on the Start Menu.

Some people do use special programs to rip eps off their DVDs, or you can use programs to download 'em. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention them here, I'll have to ask an mod. But if you don't have much space on your computer, there's lots of lost clips from the actor's websites/fansites. Check out those.
