This is a great song for Kate and I was sucked into the video. You had me at the shoe scene. It also help that I am a big fan of Sarah McLachlan. The only things I noticed were bits of what we call "flash" at another vid site. Which are the unintentional scenes found at the beginning or tail of a clip.

The list of flash frames or glitches:
-1:28 as Kate leans in as the marshal lays dying
-1:52 after Kate and Sawyer kiss
-2:12 when Kate is caught with gun to her head by marshal then
-2:38 right after Jack hands the photocopy of Kate's mugshot to her
-2:43 transition from Jack closeup to Kate closeup
-3:25 when Kate hugs Jack after he was trapped in the cave-in

I'm not sure if it is just because this is in avi "format" or if they were just not trimmed in the editor, but it is really a minor point. (I was viewing this in WMP 10.) The "fix" is really simple. This seems like a big problem but to me this vid is a "winner" in my mind. It touches the sensitivity and many facets of Kate. The flash stuff just distracted me from getting totally sucked in.

I really enjoyed this but I know I would have been speechless if it didn't have the technical glitches. Thank you for sharing your work!

I just re-watched this video a few minutes ago, and I honestly consider myself lucky that it's still on the site. Some parts of it I like, but I feel like I've grown a lot as a vidder since you guys made the switch, and I see a lot of mistakes that I didn't notice when I started making vids. Hopefully you'll see an updated version of this eventually.

All the originally hosted videos on LVI were watched and voted on by the council. There is a reason this video is still here and it isn't luck. For one of your first videos Cli this was amazing-glitches and all-l

well actually.... each of them was watched, but not every one was judged. Or rather, I watched them all to help out the others, and then when I brought up the issue of what level of quality we were looking for, and it led to us removing those vids that would no longer fit the quality we were looking for.
I then picked out a few of the videos that I felt would have the greatest chance of leaving, about 15 of them, and we voted on those, two of which were NOT removed, because they got majority votes.
So not ALL the videos were voted on... and if we went through every single vid right now and DID vote on them... I bet a few would be removed, because in my opinions our standards have raised a lot more due to quality of the videos increasing as well, but most of them were good at the time. So in case anyone ever wonders "why did my video not get on, yet things like THAT are still on there?". it's probably because they were here before the judging...

We all like to be as nice as we can, but I think this has to be put straight here and now

Looking forward to that updated version! Judging by your last one, it should be pretty damn good
