They did?  I thought they just thought of him as "the bad guy". The funny bad guy, mind you.
I kinda like that theory Ivy! Except it means, if it's true, that the Others are just another group of people who don't know what they're doing   when are we gonna find some people with some ANSWERS?! 
I wish they could have geared it so this episode was the pilot ep for this season. That would have been so awesome Then they wouldn't need to cut the days so short, they could bring them up a bit more.
Was anyone else a little bugged by the transitions at the end of each day, as a vidder?  To me, they just seemed far too hard cut, they're talking and then all of a sudden "BOM! 'Day 3.'" some of those could be faded a bit, then the audio and video change wouldn't be nearly as harsh |

awesome episode! holy crap. no flashbacks and the pace of the episode was perfect! thank you!
i love the others wanting 'good people' thing. The way goodwin talked about that combined with their outfits make me think CULT! Like their plan is to the gather all the good 'people' and drink kool-aid to be with the aliens.
I only wonder why, if they had already taken all the good people, did Goodwin hang around? hmm.
Anyway, my faith in lost is renewed. (till next episode at least)
In the meantime, who wants to join LAFL? The Lost Anti Flashback League?

Okay it wasn't in cold blood as someone said but she shot at the first thing she saw in the jungle is that not careless? I fail to see how it was an accident if you shoot someone. The only way this is the case is if the gun goes off 'accidentally.' If you pull the trigger it's your fault.
I'm getting tired of people comparing other characters to Ana. They are not just drones that can be interchanged from their actions and personalities. They are very different complex people who can't be pinned down so easily. That has been at the forefront of the writer's minds from watching the commentaries recently, I really can't stand Ana and certainly can't excuse Ana from last night's ep. She saved a little girl's life. Big deal she managed to get Nathan killed by throwing him in the pit. I think we really need to see her backstory to get some idea of the person she became before the crash. At the minute I think they have taken her to far in the opposite direction and can't bring her back.

I don't think Claire was the good person. I thought it was just because she was pregnant and they were going to wait till she had the baby and then take it.
Also, I really wanna know how Claire got away from Ethan in the 14th episode.
