In my recent project some of the clips in the timeline are being replaced. It seems to just be happening with one episode so maybe vegas doesn't like the file. Strangely, it's replacing it with footage from another file. Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas to making it better?

I've had that problem before with .mpgs. Have you tried restarting Vegas? I think with me it eventually went back to normal by itself, but if you are using .mpg I'd convert the files to a more Vegas-friendly file like .wmv or .mp4
